Starting to finish up my t4 weapon quests and before I go and permanently acquire these weapons I just wanted to refresh myself on the inner mechanical workings of duel wield and how weapon speed works with it.
Typically you would want a slow weapon MH and fast OH, or maybe that is my brain confusing Warhammer and DaOC.
Ultimately I am just trying to min/max my weapon pick on Slayer, but it won't be huge since these weapons will eventually be replaced by influence axe and SC weapon.
Looking up highest renown slayers via Armory tells me that just use the fastest weapons you can get your hands on due to most everybody using 2.4 MH and 2.4 OH.
Weapon speeds matter? (Duel Wield/2H)

Re: Weapon speeds matter? (Duel Wield/2H)
You generally want a fast main hand here coz only MH dps can do procs.
2h vs Dual wield in dps is basicly the same. The main diffeereence is that the offhand only have around 40% chance to actually swing and the offhand do around 40% of the displayed dps vallue. So 2hander is basicly a guranteed offhand swing bur at a slower attack rate.
