OT: Most of the new SCs are played for the full 15 minutes, in my estimation. I'm starting to think either the point gain has to be tweaked (gradual build even if you're not running the objective), or the time has to be lowered so that those getting their asses beat have less incentive to AFK and wait for the match to end. At the same time, shorter SC duration might encourage AFKing.

Did a Black Fire Basin last night on Order.
We pushed Destro to their spawn so i started running the flag.
Some AM grabbed it and instead of running it, he went and tried spawn camping Destro.
The rest of Order said "hey Destro, kill this AM please! we won't interfere".
Destro proceeded to destroy the AM. He didn't try grabbing the flag again.
I continued to run the flag (with a groupmate) and the SC ended in 5 minutes.

I like the new system in objective-based SCs. It really feels like there is less spawn-camping (at least, in my presonal experience from last night and the night before that).

Spawn camping seems to have been exacerbated, in my experience.

Also the sentiment behind the changes is good, but several scenarios necessitate having 2 groups working in tandem if you wish to win in quicker a time than 15 minutes: one scenario has two objectives on different sides of the map, and you must hold both. Given that kills don't contribute as much (I believe?), it means you either have to split your group up in an attempt to take control of both, or stay on one point for the match's entirety given that the chances of having a second group who will cooperate/are of a similar mindset are small.

Offtopic: which of the current scenarios in the scen pool don't have the new changes? apart from caledor woods

Didn't Aza have the real average durations?

Classical

Nordenwatch: 6 minutes
Doomfist Crater: 6 minutes
Maw of Madness: 6 minutes
Gromril Crossing: 10 minutes

Objective-based

Black Fire Basin: 7 minutes
Stonetroll Crossing: 10 minutes
Logrin's Forge: 11 minutes
Phoenix Gate: 13 minutes
