Forum etiquette / Thread locking

Forum etiquette / Thread locking

Instead of locking threads and ending discussions, can we simply erase the **** posts from griefing players who speak not of the topic of the thread- contributing nothing, and give them temporary lockouts from the forums, just as we send players to the moon in game?

We're here to moderate, not babysit. If people derail topics to the extreme or give reasons in that will result in a lock, we can do so.

I ain't spending hours go through filtering and censoring "free speech" (which you're all so proud of brandishing).

Norkakilla, you have to sacrifice a few rubber chickens every now and then to the RoR gods to keep from getting locked/muted/banned etc...
