Couple of questions -- RTR vs Release, one history question

Three questions:

1. I stopped playing AOR when Tomb of the Vulture Lord was in testing. Is there anywhere that I can read up on any major balance changed between RoR and that era of the release edition? If I recall correctly there was always a lot of complaining about class balance in Warhammer Online as the two sides didn't have exactly symmetrical classes.

2. I'm also curious if there is a consensus as to whether RoR is a "fair" server. I realize this is a bit of a loaded question, but I've read about a lot of similar projects in other games that were heavily undermined by special rules or favoritism on the part of the folks running the server. Is there a general perception yet about RoR? It is of course the prerogative of the people running the server to do whatever they want, but I'd like to know what I'm getting into, especially on such a PVP focused game!

3. As I mentioned in my intro thread, I was involved in the core testing for Tomb of the Vulture Lord and I got so burned out on the game as a result that I quit well before it was released. I'm really curious how that content turned out, and what the perception of it was from the time of release until when the servers shut down. I know it isn't on RoR yet (and I imagine it won't be for some time), but I'm guessing quite a few of you probably remember it from when it was released.

Thanks in advance!

1. Don't know of anywhere you can read in detail exactly what is different, but I can answer the class imbalance question. There seems to be less (not none, but less) complaining about balance on RoR than there ever was on Live. Whether because everyone finally got used to the imbalance, or because it's no longer really that big an issue, you'll still hear less complaining.
2. Ballpark estimate - 40% of destroy will tell you order is OP. 40% of order will tell you destroy is OP. Everyone else more or less agrees that while you will have good days and bad days, things aren't really that bad. I play both sides (as do many people here), and I've never gotten even the remotest feeling the Devs for this version are biased at all. They'll joke about it, but that's about it in my experience.
3. For many, ToVL was the best part of the Live game. I'm not one of them, but it did have a big an impact on some elite players and guilds. There have been a few polls taken here on RoR about people's favorite parts of the game back when we were playing Live, and it isn't uncommon to see quite a few responses from people who say ToVL.

Interesting! Did the PVP aspects of it make it into the game or did it end up as a mostly PVE experience? I absolutely ADORED Lost Vale (by FAR the best pve content I've played in any MMO. It had the feel of a raid with the convenience and fun of small group content. When I was testing Tomb it definitely felt like it had the potential to live up to Lost Vale but it was just so hard to tell given how broken and unfinished the content was in that stage of testing.

The PVP aspect of TOVL did make it into the game, yes. Though it wasn't used that much.
Vayra - Sorc
Forkrul - DoK
Kalyth - BG
