Low Level Boosting

Hello dear forum users, game masters, developers and many others.

Today we had a serious conversation on Destro chat, that revolved around low level players (t1 sort) that were accompanied by high tier (t4) players along in T4 PQ zones, standing there and leeching experience. Taken into account, we could not find an agreement - is it considered an exploit? Or is it considere legitimate? To avoid upcoming exiles, banishments and so on I decided to post this topic and hear everyone, alas mostly the Devs opinion, on this pending issue.

Is it considered legal? Can we do it? Or should we rather stop it?

I hope that we can find some solution to this.

Its not an exploit, and as long as you dont get contribution (getting a chance at a bag) for leeching I dont see an issue with it, they can always kick you out of the group...

Before the release of Lotd, my guild had a Kobts in a caledor hard pq (Tor sethai iirc) with all assault on and open party for guild only, anyone who wanted to be powereleved just joined the group and leaved the char afk in it.

There is no solution, as long as the game is a game that "starts" at max rank, people will look to get max rank asap.

It's virtually impossible to win a gold bag without being in the like top 5 contribution spots so I don't see how it's harmful, if anything they are helping more bags spawn.

In T4, you must be level 32 to qualify for a bag.
It's technically impossible for a lower level person to win anything from said PQs. Other than that, it doesn't differ from power-leveling on any other mobs - meaning it's okay, as long as you don't multibox.

OP, please explain to me why powerleveling is a bad thing? Especially considering T2/T3 NA time is beyond dead.

I'm not deeming powerleveling as a bad thing (especially that outside pvp levelling is mundane and boring as hell), although the issue that sprung on our chat resulted in creation of this topic. I'm merely asking people and devs for opinion, in case of future involvements of potential appeals.

tbh its kinda sad that the best way to level at the moment is grinding / or getting powerleveled at a higher tier grindspot. but im saying this since t2 and nothing has changed beside the fact that its almost impossible to level in rvr now.
