Warband dc - no disk in drive error message
Am posting this in case it offers any insight to devs on WB crash issue. At the moment of the crash I get a Windows pop-up/alert box which says something like "WAR.exe ... Cannot find disk in drive." I'll make proper note of the full text it next time it happens. (edit: Windows 10)

Re: Warband dc - no disk in drive error message
maybe it done a log you can post for the dev look for it

Re: Warband dc - no disk in drive error message
I would like to know if the devs know what the issue is before I start running my debugger on the exe to see where its crashing. Well, I might do it anyways just for my own info.
Re: Warband dc - no disk in drive error message
a friend of mine gets the no disc in dive crash pretty often. will keep an eye on this thread for possible solutions
Re: Warband dc - no disk in drive error message
A weird note on this. I read the topic and my brain went, wait a minute. I was remembering a error from live back in the day. My husband came home and I showed him this topic and he remembered it too. We both had this error, "no disc in drive", back in either 2009 or 2010. I remember getting it and attempting to put the disc in and it didn't do anything to solve the error. It just went away.

Re: Warband dc - no disk in drive error message
Okay this is what I have. Looks like it might be a conversion issue with float to string.

This is all just a guess but this could be due to a bad packet sending incorrect data. I am guessing it could be the data for what the character is wearing as this happens when someone in the wb changes area. That data might try to access a texture that doesn't exists. That error might just be a default "I cant access this file" message. This is just a guess.
