what am i doing wrong?

Once you've downloaded the game you need to put the RoR launcher inside the game folder. It's what you use each time to log in and play on our server.

You can download the launcher here:
http://launcher.returnofreckoning.com/RoRLauncher.exe

Put it inside your game folder and run it as administrator. Log in with your forum credentials and play.

If you get an error message along the lines of "unathorised access..." you just need to remove "read only" on the game folder.

is that a known issue? - i managed to start the client - "connect" worked - but the start menu has..no "play" option. only settings, cinematic, quit, etc..

Possible that the download didn't finish 100% could try force re-checking it in utorrent or whichever application you used to download it to check it's correct.

suggestion: wouldnt it be possible to pack the ror launcher already inside the game folder? so people dont have to do it manually. they can just download the whole folder without moving the ror.launcher.
