Thinking about starting.

Hello, i have played war brifely when it was launch but i had to stop playing after a while.
Now im thinking about starting to play here, the thing is that i never really got to fully explore the game, heck i only know that its a pvp mmo.
My questions are:
Is there any pve? and by pve i mean, dungeons / raids at endgame?
How levels work? because i've seen ppls with 2 sets of levels
Whats there to do for endgame?
Thanks and sorry if i posted in the wrong place.

This is an Alpha. As such, not everything is in place. Dungeons are supposed to be implemented in a few month. They are fun but they will only keep your busy for so long.

Regular level comes from quests and PvE kills. Renown is an additional rank that unlocks PvP gear and special renown points that allow you to buy additional stats and abilities. Renown points are gained in PvP
Whats there to do for endgame?
Mainly PvP. Getting said Renown levels and unlocking stronger gear

1) PVE - not at this time really. Besides questing (which can be fun) its a traditional MMO so plenty of "go there" and "kill X" quests to do. No dungeons YET! Not sure plans but I think they WILL come, just not sure when.

2) Levels - you have 2 levels. First, character level. This is the usual MMO level. Start @ 1, kill stuff, do quests, explore all grant EXP which unlocks abilities etc etc etc. Second, renown rank. This is "pvp exp" awarded for pvp kills, winning Scenario games, or taking RvR "Battle Objectives". Gain renown ranks, to get renown levels. Because there isnt PVE the best gear is currently PVP gear meaning it requires XXX renown rank to equip. Come T4 (soon) I HEARD they will possibly be making PVE sets? So that may remove the renown requirement for BIS gear. Another thing renown does is you can "buy upgrades" - in stats via renown points. So for instance my Chosen, I used my renown points (I think 20 of them) to get an additional ~19% parry chance. So it IS a big boost to get renown up!

3) Endgame - PVP? What else is there :P Itll take you a little while to even get to end game (maybe 30+ hours) and then you will spend hours doing Scenarios/RvR for renown rank and currency to buy PVP gear. There is plenty to do, like professions, or good ol PVE farming for Epics.... Havnt been bored. Game is also, or seems to be so far, alt friendly. So make an alt. Do lower tier PVP (you can descale your main to play lower tier RvR)
Sulfuras - Knight
Viskag - Chosen
Ashkandi - Swordmaster
Syzzle - Bright Wizard
Curz - Marauder
Andrithil - Blackguard

Hello, i am just about to start myself (download in progress)

How many character slots are allowed currently? I am quite an altaholic and the appeal to me of this game (as it was with Daoc) is just playing so many different classes.

Ideally i would like to play all of them and on both sides, is that possible? if not is multiple accounts allowed to make this possible? And if multiple accounts are allowed, i notice multiboxing is not permitted, does this mean i would not be able to log in characters together even if only to trade things? (or was there mail in this game? i do not remember)

Thanks :)

Game is viable to play even with a lot of content missing. Devs are taking it in the right direction. Great to see more and more people returning or just starting the game. One love

Babool - zealot
Bcsaoe - sorc
Bcsfinest - magus
Luciie - witch elf
Samlosco - white lion

Maximum 20 characters per account. Multiple accounts fine. No multiboxing but there is a mail system.

Glad to see such a supportive community, yet my problem is still there, tried borderless too.
