Game completely shutting down, no warning

This is the second time my game has gone from working perfectly, I am playing, to *poof*, desktop. Game isn't running and neither is the launcher (which I tend to just leave up), when I arrive at the desktop.

Both time, this happened when I was in a warband attempting to take the destro keep in High Pass. I am swinging my staff around to heal (archmage), and then I am looking at my desktop. No indicators of any problem at all.

Very weird, and this is the only time and the only character this has happened on. Although, the archmage is my only Tier 3 character.
Order only. Just High Elves.
Xramoth-Swordmaster (in live was Ramoth)
Caranath-White Lion (in live was Niniel)
Maldavie-Archmage (Same name in live)

This has also happened to me, so I think you can take comfort that this isn't a unique issue to your comp.

This is a very common problem when playing near high concentrations of players.

The problem is, most likely, not on your end, but the game's / server's end. However, if you have an old CPU or ram (Like me), then you'll experience crashes more often, but generally speaking, there's isn't much you can do to prevent it: It seems like running the game on "Fastest Framerate" reduces the chance of crashing, but it will never prevent it. It's just a matter of how many players there are around you. Eventually, you WILL crash.

Personally, I've tried just about everything short of reinstalling the game, and formatting my PC. Doesn't matter if I run with or without spell effects, doesn't matter if I run with high graphics but with Fastest Framerate or absolutely minimum graphics. Doesn't matter if I reduce the resolution of the game, doesn't matter if it's borderless or not, doesn't matter if I have anything running in the background, and doesn't matter if I defragged all my harddisks.

I had no problem running in Tier 2 with 2 warbands plus around me, earlier in the day, but in Tier 3 with a little over a warband, this happened.

My computer is not new, but built in the last 2 years...

Problem is not necessarily from just many players, but many players ALL doing stuff like attacking, and casting spells. All the effects, and the combat log, there's so much information flying around. With +150 players on each side, it seems the client simply can't handle it, and shuts down.

But that does sound strange. I don't know, to be honest.

Its also related to specific zones. When we run warbands in Empire/Chaos T3 mass disconnects or CTD's happen way more frequently than in Elf/Dark Elf and especially Dwarf/Greenskins (which seems to be the most stable zone).

Got the same problems as @Pixie126, windows Event viewer logs no problem, also no error message.

It happens alot when in keep sieges, large fights.
Also noticed, we can see the message: "X has disconnected from server uncleanly", when lost of players crash.
My computer is more than decent and has no problem whatsoever.

happened a few times for me and I wonder if there is any way the game makes logs for crashes or something because as stated there is no errors, just a crash.... -.-

and I my comp should not be the issue then most people would have theese issues...
CPU: Skylake 6700k
16GB of RAM
2x NVIDIA 970 in SLI
Boot on SSD and game on a WD black edition.
