Game refuses to start/connect properly.

Hello! I've been trying to fix this now for an hour or two but i've ran out of ideas. Whenever I click connect, the game starts, flashes black, then quits. After pressing the Connect button a few times, I get this message:

"Data.myp:
System.Exception: You need to stop application currently using the following file: data.myp
at MYPHandler.MYPHandler.WriteFileToArchive(FileInArchive archFile, MemoryStream MS)
at MYPHandler.MYPHandler.ReplaceFile(FileInArchive archFile, FileStream newFile)
at RoRLauncher.Client.UpdateWarData()"

From what i've understood from this forum, it's because of the read-only attribute of the folder, however, I can't remove said attribute. I've tried simply unchecking it, i've tried taking ownership, i've tried running the CMD thing. Nothing. It worked perfectly fine earlier today and i've run out of ideas. If anyone has any tips or tricks, please share!
