So I know that(or at least I assume) that melee abilities that don't list an element type for the damage deal "Physical" damage which is reduced by armor resist.
I've noticed though that there are abilities which would be spells, not melee, that seem to lack any specific element when it says damage. Are these spells dealing Physical damage then or do they actually deal an element type but the tooltip isn't describing them accurately?

Re: Spells that don't indicate damage type
It depends. Some of them have been changed, and are listed here. For example, the Archmage's Balance Essence now does spiritual damage, as it should.
On the other hand, many Swordmaster abilities like Quick Incision deal physical damage, even though most Swordmaster abilities deal spiritual damage. If there's an ability you think should deal a damage type that it doesn't, you can bring it up, so long as it's not for reasons of balance. Those issues can wait until we're ready to deal with them.

Re: Spells that don't indicate damage type
Ah ok, I was just wondering because of the Zealot abilities in the Trees that have no damage type listed, would be silly if they dealt Physical damage for an actual spell:
Boon Of Tzeentch: Drains 310 health, not sure if that means it's always 310(or whatever number it is at level) no matter what or if it's affected by resists/what type.
Chaotic Agitation: Deals X damage to your target and all around them in 20 ft over 6 seconds. Has no description of damage type.
Aethyric Shock: Same deal as Agitation, no description just says damage.
