Like... must have? Unless you can self-buff that stat, of course, because most pots don't stack with butts.

Pots are an essential part of the game. Whether it's armor pots, stat pots/liniments(t4 item), or hp/ap pots.

Question for the devs. As I remember pots had a 2 min cooldown on live and are 5 here. Never thought to ask but why the change?

Pots are an essential part of the game. Whether it's armor pots, stat pots/liniments(t4 item), or hp/ap pots.

Absorb pots were definitely the ones with the shorter cooldowns, and maybe the HoT pots, but I never used those. Healing potions always had a 5min CD AFAIK.

Not sure if this is specifically the case with potions, but the client actually manages the cooldowns for just about everything else, so I expect it handles cooldowns on potions too. If the client shows a 5min cooldown on potions, you can be guaranteed that's how it worked on live.

To answer the OP, potions are super useful, but as mentioned, they don't stack with buffs, so some classes get more use out of them than others. Healing potions are a must have. Even with a pocket healer, just to give them a couple extra seconds to respond.

Not to mention cultivating/apothecary is laughably easy to level and can be leveled on a lvl 1 character (same as salvaging and talisman making). So for crafting you pretty much only need two high level characters, one for butchering and one for scavenging.
