Forum rule suggestion - abuse of post color

I notice that some people like to use color in their posts, and I don't care about that until it becomes a legibility problem, as it is in the case of one user on these boards. Would you mind updating the forum rules to prohibit the use of color in posts which cause them to become unreadable or near-unreadable?

I'm talking about things like this.

I guess it differs from person to person. As some people are colour blind at one extreme, and others don't like certain colours in text.

I agree, some are hard. Just highlight the text and read. So difficult to do?

@Dana: I already have them on ignore.

@Elven: I don't see why I should have to highlight posts because someone feels the need to make them illegible.

But all right, it was worth a try.

We can't force people NOT to use something, just cause others don't like it. The colour palette is a generic palette and is on all forums.

I will highlight posts to read but if others don't want to do it. Well, just don't bother reading ;)

The obvious counterpoint to that is that I'm not allowed to say **** and **** without being filtered just because some people don't like those words.

Colours and language are different matters, right? :D

I'm not familiar with this "filtering" you speak of.

Regular users see asterisks in place of the more choice curse words.

I vouch for the removal of unreadable colours from the colour palette. That way we can still have coloured texts which everyone can still read.
