So, Influence rewards from oRvR, erm...

So I have played for a few days so far I have got to rank 21(now 22) with my DoK, I began doing oRvR at about rank 18, I have only received enough influence to buy the 'Basic' items in each zone, while coming close to reaching the 7040 Influence needed for the 'Advanced' rewards one of which (Ostland(Chalice)) I absolutely NEED I've not quite got there.

My dilemma... I have now reached rank 22 while out in oRvR so am now forced into chickenmode and can no longer receive influence because of this and now I miss out on rewards. (people do not want chickenmode noobs in their warbands)

So can someone tell me...how do I get my advanced t2 influence reward without dying as a chicken to everything that breathes?!

Best option would be to start gaining t3 Soldier's Emblems from scenarios, the chalice you receive at level29/rr29 is superior, and gives the same amount of Soul Essence.

So I have to miss out on my item from tier 2 for the next 8 levels, and also reaching rr29 is not that quick either?

Just madness, i just want my purple chalice.. the devs decision to customise the server so you cant turn exp off, sucks..

Those rewards are neat but they will be obsolete for you extremely fast, you don't have to mind it. If you absolutly want to complete your influence you will have to wait for the dev to reinplant rank diminution in low level ORvR, but that will take for a big while as I really don't think it's a priority.

The DoK and WP mechanic regen rate is based on the chalice/book rarity. So purple one would last quite a long bit I suppose.

If people who do mostly rvr to level up are not getting the t1-t2 influence rewards, in full, something needs to be done.

Making people have to go out of their way simply to get a reward for playing the game as intended is bizarre to me.

If the influence needs to be buffed, make it so, no one should be forced of skipping kill quests or waiting for a obscure implementation that probably will never be here to get the damn influence items or the Rvr set.

Yeah elf and dwarf keeps aren't giving enough influence for whatever reason. It sucks but hey, they'll fix it. Eventually.

I remember my own experiences in T2. I managed to get every influence reward, but that meant I did nothing but Open RvR, and even there I had to avoid the XP-heavy action. No PvE for items/butchering/scavenging, no RvR kill quests, no SCs, no empty BO/keep captures, no RvR in the zones where my influence was full. Often I had to sit around doing nothing and just wait for a keep defense in the zone I wanted influence for. While it's possible (if you can play during the EU prime time), it's pretty absurd that you can't do anything else at all, or very little even if you don't want literally everything. And I don't think it'd be possible to pull this off at all in T3 with the current conditions if the rank cap wasn't in that tier.

No early tier reward is worth "slowing down", sure that chalice/tome in human T2 is nice but you'll get a better one on 29.
