df/wf kept the magus alive because like every class they could burst and people assumed the class was ok, on ror they are a joke plain and simple.

They are great fun for leeching in zerg fights and keeps though, no denying that. Oh and the ae magus ccs are great at giving free immunites gotta love playing against those! ;>

I dont have many solutions but if you want to go down the route that they bring more cc to the game instead of boosting their damage heres one change they should atleast put in the magus favour if they arn't primary range dps.

magus disarm which you have to invest 6 mastery points to obtain
35ap - 2sec cast - 3sec duration

Sorc disarm which you get as a core ability for no cost
20ap - 1sec cast - 3sec duration

Perhaps return AOE Knockdown to Witch Elfs On Your Knees! would love to have that back on my We.
But Engineer and Magus are most needed of changes.

Make a case why Embrace the Warp needs a buff. "That other class has a better one" is not really a good reason. Else, we would be seeing SM with Crippling Strikes (instead of Dragon's Talon), for example.

Ya the AoE snare thing is all about leveling the playing field, and makes knights even more mandatory than they are, and BO's as well. We tried a 6v6 against a guild we probably play agains the most without slice through and they just walked all over us being permenately snared and the other team having mostly free movement is a gigantic advantage.

As for outgoing healdebuff I can't say you are wrong, we brought up ways of playing around it on our IB since he didnt have a knight or SM to play at the time and was one of our core memebers. But at the same time it seems kinda cheesy to have to play around a single skill to make a class viable.

It also brings up the lack of a healthy enviroment to allow everything to be thourougly tested, maybe sitting on healers with BG/IB could be extremely strong if you cover for the weaknesses it would expose.

The other problem with such a small community is people sometimes just outright don't want to 6v6 without the absolute best case scenario for their group setup since so much ego can be on the line, or even worse you will only get one fight out of a guild which gives you no time to adjust and learn from your loss since that's all they gave you. With more guilds participating in a 6v6 environment it would help relieve some of those stresses and egos I think.

Being able to have constant daily 6v6 matches against a ptheora of different guilds and comps is necessary to really see what the meta is I think. Right now it's like a handful of matches a week against the same guilds with relatively the same comps. And with RvR the way it is now, many people wash out or lose interest meaning keeping a relatively stable guild roster is hard for many guilds.
Spoiler:
Looks like every thread does devolve into a 6v6 discussion :^)

You could argue zealot/runie equivalent is better, granted it has 2 downsides, can be severed and hast a very long cooldown but it doesnt have a range check so affects any damage you are taking, reduces ap costs and means you cant be setback while casting, shamans aoe detaunt affects only enemies within 30ft, if you are great at keeping out of trouble(which you should be as a healer) zealot/runie's version is better because you wont be at risk more often then once every 3 mins, but then you could compare to dok/wp aoe detaunt having 100% uptime, granted it does cost a tactic slot tho.

Runie and zealot also have a st detaunt, in regard to them as they are not mirrors they appear balanced, st detaunt's are the same, aoe are different but both have downsides and benefits in different situations. Although i am slightly jealous of AM aoe detaunt as you cant be setback meaning you can use big heals and them not end up being 5 second casts :D but i guess that makes up for the extra 5 seconds shamans get.
