For every good balance change he made, there was ten bad ones. The unwarranted nerfs which had zero prior discussion with community (BO/Chosen), 10+ **** months of Guardian WL or however long it was, not to mention his unironically toxic attitude to anyone opposed to his "vision". Yeah, I can't say I miss the guy.

But hey, at least we got to see him play his Beastmaster!! :?

gentle touch on balance would solve the problem i think.
i miss torq. he would have done fine tuning.
The unbalance and the “left overs” were all messes created when torq was the dev running the balance show

The reworks were all disasters ASW, guardian wl, pet stat scaling so messed across the board that it even made Peter and the rest of the “LUL just kill the pet” crowd back and admit that it was over performing

Overbuffing GTTC to straight cancer levels, wrecking DPS SnB bo by making THC 2H only

Nerfing big brawlin snare on BO and now orders high mobility is running rampant

hence it's ongoing fix.
destro things were need to be fixed. order high mobility is next step, imo.
after that, would it be perfect balance?
something to fix will happen. engie/magus perhaps.
it's not surprise player's priority is their own fun. limited visions.

Yep the irony is that the game was in better shape before the balancing efforts.

(Engie / Magus may be an exception, Sm x2 debufg and controling procs)

I agree 100%. Bring back Kobs +20%crit chance buff with triple shatter on 100ft, rework melee SH to what it was on live, make WL pounce spamable again, Let SW fernster bomb again, remove vanish escape from WE, WH and so on... Is that what you want?

Precisly, balance effort has always been on spot but most of time even if direction was right it has been put too much or too few into nerf or buff something than what was need.

With little to no awareness of real sich in game follow by very forcefull imposition regarding review the changes done or imposition to exclude classes from component of the game..as in case of we/wh/wl....

Those changes were made by Az and were legitimately good for the game

In general, the smaller balance fixes have been both good and bad. The larger reworks of classes and specs, however, have been terrible.

More on topic, forts where very rarely a fun thing on live. I never understood why so many people, then and now, discussed them like it would solve everything wrong with the game. If you really need invader just suck it up and endure. When you have the gear, or do not want it, then just ignore forts and play another game, go outside etc until rvr/scenarios picks up again.

What I don't get is how there isn't (or at least there Appears there isn't) some sort of matrix kept that lets the devs easily compare weight-of-stats/abilities. It's a bloody computer game, so (in an over-simplified version I know) just looking at numbers and keeping stats on flips and such should be easily done, no? And if not, for all the wonderful work and back-and-forth that has happened, why not make something that tracks everything?

1. Zone-pop high/low/average for flips
2. Class representation (and in general, talent trees favored)
3. Death:kill ratios and weighted stats on gear of them
4. Time comparisons for all the above, like how fast a zone flips with XYZ or a fort is defended/taken
5. Forts, for the love of Mork! make some sort of participation that can build over time. RNG just for showing up is a wretched method.

This, this boggles me (and keep in mind they might track some of this.... I don't know but it doesn't seem like it, historically).

I am very glad to be done with forts on my choppa, felt so useless in there until the last moment when Order comes running in and I have only 6 tanks to choose from to attack while their aoe hits from door. Glad that is done. So, healer or tank next? Ugh, I think healer, then I promise I'll just keep that one to keep going to forts forever to help out and beat back those Order dogs!
Chasing the golden carrot that is my alts.

Was really trying to not post in this thread, as 99% of it is just plain whine with not even a semblance of a half thought solution. But bored on the way to work.

Really hope there is not balancing to balance factions , that really would destroy the game imo.
As to the “all changes have been bad” crowd in here , just a reminder that although there are some very questionable changes such as GTDC, rampage order mobility and WL scaling the level of complaints currently is low suggesting things are much better , so from my point of view things are defiantly moving forward.
Even the tank moral thread and WL thread on balance are positive that they are looking at things but are not in a hurry to force half thought out plans on us.
So in short players zerging is player issues feed a bit by progretion restraints, this is also the reason the population is still ok, chose your poison carefully
