A factor I totally relate too and agree, I love exploring this game when I'm not doing RVR.

Only thing i ever wanted gear wise was some change to tank defensive set my 2h def sm doesn't need 2 block lol.

For me, it's the other way around. I like doing RvR when I get tired of quests(and you do-even in SWTOR you do). WAR was a very rich game that got abandoned(sadly).

Kait: Swordmasters shouldn't even use shields lol! It's so out of character... ;)

IMHO...

DF, WF and RR over 80 broke the game. LOtD items likewise. The resulting gear gaps killed this game. If the really high level gear scaled better and players over 80RR didn't get the hidden character levels, it may have worked out. Unfortunately, the implementation of the increase in RR from 80 to 100 was not implemented very well and drove many players from the game and also discouraged new players who tried the game. Thus accelerating the downward population spiral that inevitably lead to the death of our beloved WAR.

Pretty much this. I started playing war a few months before the 100 expansion and the guild i was in (which i cant remember the name, guild was order on Gorfang server i think, and the leader was Lordoflions if anyone knows the guild) had a healthy number of players but not long after the 100 expansion most quit.

What i would say even tho its a long way away if ever, RVR with bo/keep guards and keep claiming was far better then the afk empty keeps for renown ppl got use to.
Armor/lotd wise, tovl is needed but getting it working i imagine is near impossible ?. For me lotd weapons were not a problem but mayb only having vendor weapons and talis would be ok ? and also getting rid of tomb drops like the absorbs and ignore block/parry/dodge/disrupt items would be better.
I would say keep rr100 max BUT make doomflayer/warpforge and the 90/100 weapons for alternate appearance only, meaning the only advantage a rr100 would have over a rr80 is the 20 extra rr points to spend.

but how else are the dps post to get pass my wall of darting steel without those pocket items :P

I stand by your side, people with RR 90+ was literally semigods compared to the RR 80 people. I would love to see Sovereign Armor Sets, but that's it. No land of the dead no RR 80+. You have the chance to do what the original game designer failed to, an entertaining game for everyone. Not only for elitists. :ugeek:

Hello,
Im strongly convinced, that the same ppl , who todays say "NO" to 100rr, LOTD or Warpforged gear, after 2-3 form endgame inn RoR, will be demanded a new stuff.
No offence pls, but its just in human nature.
So, im from start vote for bring ROR to this same state, like Warhammer Online was in 18th december.
