Yes but why is the slayer being put in that slot in the first place? If you look at each class independently they seem fine, and I am almost positive that a WL would absolutely destroy a slayer 1v1.

It when you throw in outside factors like guard you see slayer becoming far and away the best MDPS on order. Because it is built around trading defense for offensive power, but the drawback is essentially negated and more just by having guard.

Slayer also has an incoming healdebuff, giving WL one isn't going to change this dynamic. With the exception of mara, DPS classes that are more "defensive" get thrown under the bus when compared to "berserker" classes like Slayer/BW, when you account for the support that a 6 man group provides.

The only way I ever see the current meta being changed up is if you make it so defense becomes more of a premium on DPS classes.

I am not against or can give any real reasons why WL shouldn't get the change to incoming, but I don't see if fixing anything on a grander scale.

stop thinking in the context of 1v1

nerf shatter limbs so that x2 slayers dosnt equal10% uptime on the ability

the you will see more wh and wls in 6 man partys

did you read my post? The whole point was that 6 man groups allow slayer to scale much better. I thought that was explained well.

The 1v1 example, just being a indicator that buffing WL will not make it better than slayer, other factors from outside sources like healers/tanks is what is to blame.

The videos show only some semi-afk players, that obviously never heard of TB and "other defensive stuff".
It doesn't show us at least one complete fight (e.g. 6vs6) from the beginning to the end.
It's just a nice little collection of lol-crits-on-squishies (including PvE mobs...) and underwhelming gameplay (mara running away from WL = :lol: ), e.g. keyturning+klicking choppa etc. pp.
His pet shows also level 41 for most of the time, which means that he was over RR80.

His "3second/2second kills" show mostly players with lifebars close to 50%, so he had no problems to burst these "willpower stackers" with cull the weak.

Also: balanced numbers fight =/= balanced fight.

What these kind of videos normally don't show:

- did he wear a bugged lodt axe with insane critrate?
- when where the videos taken? (i don't mean the youtube date ofc...)
- personal playerskill and spec/stats of the enemies etc. pp.

Why people still believe they can judge on the performance of a class from these kind of videos, is a miracle to me...

Nobody truly believes this. It's just an excuse to drive-by the topic without actually having to think about it or make arguments.

All that matters is whether WL is considered good enough to run in a group which actually wants to win.

Even with inc healdebuff, i would take Slayer or WH rather than WL in a 6 man.

that skill totally make sense cos it's the mirror of choppa outcomming heal debuff, that skill should not be touch, another one should inc heal debeuff.

What about make ponuce a heal debuff also and give it 10 sec coldown :P (haters gona hate)

I agree with it too. Misconceptions about the class behind a good player, creates negativity.

slayers and white lions woulf both benifit equally from the buffs a grp can give the problem is that slayer is better b/c hdebuff and wls are reliant on a buggy pet that dies too fast
