1.x.x only a little different first 15, third 44, 4. 18 so 15+44+18=77 vote

I remember babysitting NPC ressource carriers - it was not PvP. If we could at least keep PvE to a minimum in PvP (no carrier, no PQ, no keep guards, but instead Cannons and door repair) I would be happy. I also enjoyed when we had to coordinate across zone - it gave a sens of community and some faction pride.

I wonder if RvR lakes could act like some kind of SC (think Nordenwatch), with BO's giving your realm points while you hold them. Once your realm has like 1000 points (more or less the equivalent of 2 SC's = 30 minutes) doors are attackable. The more BO's you hold, the faster you will gain these points.

So you end up with two open zones, but both sides need to work actively on the BO's (just like 1.4.0).

AAO would give you a bonus in generating these points.

BO's should be locked for 5 minutes tops.

And continuing the general idea of Nordenwatch across the zone - if one wanted to incorporate PQ (in their current state) into the zone VP ranking, all that would be needed is to plop a flagpole like Nordenwatch in the middle of the PQ and have players fight the respawning NPCs to keep control of the flag and continue generating VP.
Note that I am not advocating this, I am just pointing out the versatility of this elegant solution.

Already thought about it myself but all it does is giving both realms a chance to prepare one zone each.

But to follow this idea, aao could slow down the process, so it takes maybe 1 hour or even more with 4 BO and 400+ aao on the other side to be able to start an attack. The lower the opponents aao, the faster each BO hold by your realm generates points. It won't be a hard lock but a time lock based on the rvr activity in a zone.
Dying is no option.
