making fun of the harassed side = banter
getting farmed by abusive use of mechanics = own fault because of not knowing game mechanics

This is hilarious stuff A complete meme warband having a laugh together and causing a huge ruckus while at it. I see many ways of fighting full runepriest warband, but this tunnel visioned blob-mentality that is oRvR nowadays seemengly can't figure any other way than to come to forums and yell for devs to come and aid them Adapting your own gameplay to your opponent is out of the question it seems.

Some adjustments might be warranted on RoB, but to be honest, victims of current RoB are already victims of all org wbs anyways, no matter the composition. Creative, outside of the box thinking combined with organization can and propably will create more of these meme parties+warbands and stacking any single class on either side will propably have some kind of forum backlash similar to this.

you still cant get it. You made a much more drama about people posting, whining and complain. They can, and also most of them right. I played a lot with some old folkz. And yea most of them are gud fellas. But it happens in any community, some of people got "authority" and used it in their own way. Is it ok? yes. Does it makes game and community better? a bit maybe, but often opposite. The "elitist" is much about your and other order folkz approach, like throwing troll post, or blamin people for bein hardly abused, like that was their own fault, cause they are not so deep in to the game and patches. The thing is gud, that we got highlighted the problem. The bad thing, is that most of community old players are bit young in their mental age. Get your jokes in private chats, discords or whatever. But be polite and respectful to any players u interact with. And that mean, dont use exploits or build that even close to it, otherwise get ready for consequences. Even the streamer could apologize to destro players, pay them respect. Also we got a really gud fights hours before and tuesday evening.

I do get everything. But i just disagree with someone being hardly abused yesterday, or exploits and bugs being used.
What ive said is harsh truth - victims of rob yesterday can only put blame on their huge missplays which ive mentioned here and notice yesterday during playing. While what i see here is a witch hunting. Why discuss behaviour of RP warband instead of e.g. doing a posts to discuss what one may find as unfair game mechanics, e.g. stealthed wh with 12 robs?

So by your logic you dictate me to be respectful while the other side, which did nothing to counter what we've run yesterday can be disrespectful and post nonsense blaming us, players, that we killed them in video game.

While I don't think the attitudes of those involved are particularly great, I don't think this is an exploit or bug or anything that requires some sort of 'punishment' which I've seen suggested a few times.

Most of my deaths to this comp was due to stealthed WH + ROB where I couldn't see what was nuking me.

Used on an ironbreaker- whatever. Just avoid the IB, sever blessings, silence etc. It's cheesy but not a huge deal to people capable of playing around it. However, casting it on a stealthed character should definitely break stealth.

Further, I think ROB as a skill should probably be treated like pit of shades, rain of fire, magus mist, etc in that it should not stack.

The best thing about this situation is that it highlights something that should have probably been caught by the balance team already and steps can be implemented to tweak the skill. I've been told a member of the balance team is in TUP, so maybe this meme warband will lead to some more good changes in balancing moving forward.

With my half a decade of experience in this game, by far the most toxic people are the loud "realm priders" on BOTH sides. They don't understand game mechanics past their own favourite class, and everything can and will be blamed on the other realm or "xrealmers".

People can't handle runepriest warband because they can't adjust their gameplay to face them. You know you're facing a warband that has 25ft radius nuke walking around in stealth and you still get nuked by it?? It never occured to you maybe spread around a bit so your whole warband isnt in the 25ft radius..?
