that is why i told give armor debuff to mara would had been bad idea it could escalate very bad if you have a choppa with a 50% heal debuff and you go brut instead savage.

squig/sw should have snare proc
wh/we def set definettly not snare proc
WL and maybe mara should have a stats debuff not an armor debuff.

The Armour debuff doesn't do much for a Sav. Mara, and a Single Target Choppa and a Savagery Mara will fry almost anything regardless of armour proc.

i inverted the brut with savage name :P

not quite true, you still have a 50% heal debuff but no 25% damage increase, no guillotinve, no convulsive slash.
which make brut build with also heal debuff from choppa and armor debuff from sets better imo. And the only one who get this advantage is mara as wl benefith more to have pounce for me atm.

Well Convulsive Slashing is not really not worthy of mentioning, considering you lose AA while channelling, I would think the 50% Crit damage tactic is what is truly scary about the Brut tree. The balance is the Mara does more damage in this case but the choppa does less (less armour mit).

The Proc still is not as reliable as a BG or BO armour debuffing for you. and if you are running a Brut mara and a Choppa you probably want to have two tanks in that group.

it's true that both BO and BG debuff armor, i dont remember for what value anyway. The chance to proc a 10% proc spam attacks with dual weils is anyway really high.

Uhm a 25% damage increase + 50% crit tactic + convulsive slash? + armor debuff? it fell nasty to me

wl build that way loose damage on pet and also speed tactic which ppl told that is usually better than lionheart. Still it got pounce indeed but it feel better the other way with a reliably armor debuff due the burst nature and the 50% speed increase.

A question i need to ask, wasnt there supposed to be a currency exchange vendor? with the implementation of the new sets so we could swap between emblems and medallions?

As I mentioned in the thread, it was discovered that the code backbone that would be needed to implement that vendor was not actually done, and would not be done by the time the sets were ready to release. Once that functionality is in place, the exchange vendor may be coming, as the needs of the server dictate.

That is, it's a hiccup to start as players at cap have to accumulate something new. Characters in lower tiers will ideally know what set they want to prioritize, and can "waste" less time/effort/currency getting something that isn't optimal for the build they want to play with. It could turn out that the exchange vendor is not as highly desired when we're able to implement them.

Ah i see, my mistake for not seeing your statement earlier

However i do contend that a currency exchange vendor is necessary simply because there is a large discrepency rate in currency aqqusition as SC currency is accquired at a much faster rate than oRvR currency which you need for devastator, my WE who i have been who is currently leveling has currently 200+ sc currency but only 21 orvr medals, even with kill quests its a slow process (those darn HE kills take so long)

And while its Its true i avoid oRvR because NA down time, and WB instability, i still feel that because one currency is natrally accquired faster than the other, a enchange vendor wold be very beneficial

T1 sc set pieces are too expensive. I hardly manage to get the 110 emblems for weapons before I'm lvl 12 (starting pvp at lvl 1), I don't think it's possible to get weapon and the set pieces before overleveling that tier.

And going back to t1 with t2 emblems to exchange them just doesn't make any sense.
