i dont know anything bout runies but why cant zelot have a dedicated pure healing tree like other healers insted of stuff all over the place
I dont have access to super "good" armor tallis because there pretty dam epensive on ah but FO is a real bitch to deal with maybe it will get better once i have WtS, been trying to stack armor, wounds and heal crit

sry which changes to melee dok are you referring to? wasn't aware that the devs went through the effort to change melee doks as well.....

happy to be educated in a civil manor but from where i am standing zealot seems to have a much harder time in the game than rune priests do when u look at a grp enviroment ( i.e scens, 6 man roaming )
Just a fyi, runies cant cleanse bgs, and if one gets on you you get an outgoing heal debuff, ap increaser, and like a million other debuffs on you in a second.
Id still say zealots are a little harder due to slayers+sws, but both have their difficulties.

sure i get that point. the difference in my opinion is that as a RP i can kite the BG, i.e the bg has to hit me to affect my healing...
so if i position right and prekite i can avoid a lot of the pressure of the BG...
neither SW nor slayer nor WH has to hit me to affect my healing on the person they are trying to kill

neither can u prekite a ranged knockdown from SW or BW

look i am not saying that rune priests don't have their own set of problems to deal with i just feel it's easier for rune priests to play around them than it is for zealots and not by a small margin

I mean, it's completely useless? I wouldn't even run it in T4 unless it had 100% upkeep on all my heals, which it will never have.
I don't see who benefits from the armor buff? The DPS that will only survive heavy burst if they're properly guarded and healed? The tanks that have their armor capped already? Or is myself? The class with the lowest armor value in the game?
We also have three tactic slots, ONLY. That basically disqualifies Warp The Spirit automatically.
Here are couple of reasoning behind my play style:
1. Tzeentch's Grip is beyond amazing. Not only does it have 6x the chance to proc per AoE heal cast, it also eats debuffs for breakfast. What I mean by that? Well, if you have the shield proc up and someone debuffs your wounds by 120, the damage portion of the ability is still applied, while the 120 wound debuff is not. I assume this will get fixed down the road but it's still amazing, even if destro doesn't necessarily have to deal with too many wound debuffs like the order guys do. I also don't really heal with Elixir of Dark Blessings most of the time. The ability has too long of a cast and you literally have to pre-cast to heal heavy burst or combo it with Focus Mind. This means that I'm spamming Flash Heal on my defensive target which will proc that living hell out of the shield.
2. Restorative Burst is a necessity. I run +15 AP regen per second on top of running AP pots. I almost never run out, no matter the intensity of the fight, and every single cast of Dust of Pandemonium has 6x the chance to proc Resto. Free AP for everyone!!
3. Blessing of Chaos is the bees knees. I don't have anything else to say about it. If you aren't running it, then you're not playing your Zealot right.

Just because you have your armor capped dosnt mean it will stay capped when youve got powerful armor debuffs like force opportunity being thrown around and the 10% armor ignore reduction is nothing to scoff at when most mdps have around 20% ish (- 30% ish armor pen if they are stacking WS?)
and its a life saver for you
Chaotic force alone ensures a pretty nice proc rate
restorative burst isnt necessary especially with our low cost flash heal
im sure winds of insaity is great and all but half the time agaist some one competent you just get rkd
