Whilst for example a WP melee spec already got this and there is nothing OP about it, i don't agree all melee classes need ranged detaunt.

What needs to happen rather sooner than later is an adequate nerf to all the strikethrough stats of ranged dps classes.

There is absolutely no reason at all Intellgience as a stat should give disrupt strikethough, renown deft defnder offers no protection at all since these casters have easily 15%-20 strikethrough without much effort.

Spending 0 points into deft defender or full points makes no practical difference except when you have shield tanks holding the line for you.

Then finally resistance as a stat need to be looked into and improved, it is sad mitigation with all those 350-370+ resistance debuff casters around.

You are not supposed to have a range detaunt, since you are meant to play in melee range. It's up to you how you get into melee range. If you want to play solo, pick a different class or adjust how you play.
I am not suggesting all classes should have ranged detaunt, but hey, by that logic you just posted, then rdps classes detaunt wouldnt work in close range / melee range, right ? :lol:

It is nice how with all the whining, somehow non mentions that rdps detaunt is single target, while mdps one is aoe. There is a reason why I benefited from my WE detaunt a lot more than detaunt on any of my ranged toons.
