Ok since it looks like you got no idea how the WE class works- the dmg in screenshot is done by RA, which is a channel which hits 3 times per gcd.

No incoming heal debuff, Carnage tree isn't maxed so less dmg. And realistically no extra dmg from IP tactic, since you could use instead say a free ToB which isn't mitigated by FS.

How much dmg do I need to do to be competitive with real dps? 1000 crits every .5 seconds stacked on top of dots that crit for 400 and Kiss procs for around 250?

yes same as any mdps.
i agree with open post about wh/witches, in game where is 24 aoe why u need st. if u can melt dawn just with spaming aoe? atm our rogues can hope for weak oponents or kill steal (city or wb)

Thats all good - assuming you can actually crit something on a constant basis with your 25% crit chance.

Lol well. That's FS4, sans Sent Tali, Liniment, Event Item, Boost and 1 Annulus, as well as group synergies and counting kiss proc, so around 46%; 56% with BG with 2 crit in renown.

I wanted to revive this thread because I think there are some great changes that could be made to Witch Elf (& Witch Hunter), especially at lower levels of gear.

1. Elixirs/Holy Relics shouldn't share a cooldown.
This adds a lot more versatility to the class.

2. All the 9pt Abilities should generate 2 combo points instead of 1, in addition to maybe one of the core abilities generating extra.

5 globals to build up to a finisher is a long time.

3. Bleeding Edge / Blessed Blade should just give 25% flat armor pen.
These tactics already barely function for their intended purpose, because you use your Finisher and get the buff after. For both Channels, the first tick gets no benefit but the rest of them do. It serves no benefit for most Finishers, which is a major flaw in the design imo. In addition to this, I think Finishers should just get some amount of armor pen baseline (maybe 15?) so the 11pt tactic isn't so necessary.

4. More crit?
A few of the WH/WE enjoyers whom I trust tend to think the class could benefit from more crit chance, especially early on.

That would be insane dmg boost. Pure dmg bursts every min with high crit/free pen, and free out of jail card. And extra pen on finishers/fast generation on top will just create oneshoting toxic abominations. And will be zero reasons to play trough torment/agonizing.
