No, and Noise's builds aren't ideal. Also Echo of Power is a waste of a mastery point.

I swapped Swell of Gloom, Triumphant Blasting (great for solo roam) and Infernal Gift depending on the situation. EK, SoD and VoD were always there.

Also, Swell of Gloom didn't give you 100% more dmg to Gloomburst. It was some weird formula, I can't remember how it exactly worked. Dmg was added after the initial skill dmg calculation on target. Something like that.

I remember it threw out 2x some Damage numbers, yeah, but no real numbers. Still you can surely also swap in the Dot/Resi tactic, but iirc that should not have stacked with Chosen, but i can be wrong on this one. I just casually played Sorc and BW on t3 myself. But overall both classes have their own pros and cons in _some_ form.

No Absorb Vitality?
Almost the same spec but i chose AV over Impending Doom.

Depends on Soloing or not i guess. Problem is , that this spell is cleansable again. And we know that people spam cleanses for lotsa fun

I was maining a squig herder, and rerolled to sorc at the start of the deftard era in order to stay competitive. By that time Absorb Vitality was heavily nerfed. ID is our best killstealing skill. I'd never drop it .

It's a fair point though. Power creep pushes TTK against most characters down into the floor and emphasises damage as the most valuable aspect of the game.

im all for a higher ttk, it makes the game more tactical and reduces the need for only doing dmg. (like cleansing often is useless cause ttk is to low).

right now in t2 i personally think ttk is quite fine though.

T2 is definitely fine, yes.
