I tested it in a SC only throwing Acid Bombs.
It seems that the skill is doing dmg but it is not at all displayed in UI numbers. All other dmg abilities show the damage done but Acid Bomb ticks do not show up as yellow numbers for me.

seems to be same with other insta cast abilties - when u click the abiltiy and in that moment your target get out range or los it would go on cooldown without actually firing.Jaycub wrote:I think it might be a latency problem? happened to me in GoE when I used acid bomb on shamy that was in the "doors" near flag but right after that he los behind wall and my grenade was stucked infront of me. that nasty shamy was punished later with UF blunderbuss cuz there in no wall strong enough to keep you safe from engi

Btw, do engi turrets initially spawn with low hp? Does the aoe turret attack itself until it dies? Can you guys use landmines on GoE's ramps (destro side)?

no idea about wounds but turrets explode bloody fast. the moment some destro even look on my turret it is at 1/3 HP
Im not using mines mostly cuz its not worth it for 3 sec stagger that break on any fluff dmg flying around and giving free immunities. its better to have IB or SW to kd target so I cannot confirm or deny the land mines issues cuz its plainly horrible way in my opinion to throw free immunities that way.
aoe turret seems to dmg only enemies. I guess that horror aoe itself to death was posted somewhere on bugtracker. no idea how it progressed. I was using either flamer or ele debuff one.

Try making your turrets and tell me if they initially spawn at full hp. I think once it aoe's itself the Blue Horror it will continue to auto attack itself to death...so its not just that the AOE damage hits itself...it gets mad and just starts beating itself to death no matter what. I'm quite shocked to hear that this has been a bug for a few months now but is not affecting engies.grumcajs wrote: aoe turret seems to dmg only enemies. Another thing I noticed is that I do not get my turrets abilities when leveling up. The pet bar shows them but they blink strangely and neither the Grenade nor the Flame Turret fire their abilities when I press the button. Gun Turret seems to work tho.

1- on average the magus has twice as many db's than the engie
2- by far, magus do not die as much

I have seen green ranked L 17 magus out dps engies of L 20 every time .... and lets not forget the floating kite, nearly impossible to counter because a magus can go in reverse at the same speed it goes forward.
Somewhere in the translation of the database, the magus got re-worked, because I remember the magus being chopped liver in the pay game.

Really why all order playing engi ? because all of you are exploiting turret on scenario GoE all engi put their turrets behind the wall / all aoe skill behind the wall really dev's fix that for all career because this exploiting killing the game.

What game are you playing? Go make a Magus right now and see how silly that sentence was. We back peddle as fast as anyone else in the game bro.
If anything our discs SHOULD give us game breaking advantages considering they're suppose to be able to let it's users fly around...even traverse the warp itself according to the wiki. Sorry to burst your bubble but we can't even float on water, our swim speed is the same as everyone else's and we even sink a bit while doing so. It gives us 0 mobility advantages over anyone else.
