Also noticed there's some weirdness with jewellery stats for the Gale-Runner sets. Whereas the Wanderer sets give the relevant stat for the class that uses it (Lionmark Str for White Lion, Waaagh Beads Willpower or Int for Shaman, etc) and are race-locked, the Gale-Runner versions are unlocked to any race and have nonsensical stats, like Waaagh Beads that give Ballistic Skill and Lionmarks that give Willpower, stats that the Shaman and White Lion would never use.

I guess it was like that in the original, in which case, lolMythic.
ye there was less primal stats stack until original t4 cos most classes were both balanced in off and deff instead pursuit onoly primary role, for exempel give some willpower to a dps mean increase his disrupt chance, it's not much but when you get a 15% from an hold the line it got cool so your choppa disrupt things xD

Its really interesting info when you are going on Pixelhunt :]

Seems that the database is likely pulled from the old wardb sites drop lists that were nowhere near complete.

Regular mobs had uncommon items based on creature type that was the junk or quest collections. Then pulled randomly from an separate gear list that was based on the level of the mob.

You could grind any regular pve drop gear from anything as long as it was the correct level. This prevented spawn camping for rare items on anything other than unique creatures that had longer spawn timers.
It sounds like true and most of gear items people got from Public quests. If you wanted blue items you could just score first place on hard public quest and also get rares from chapter renown rewards.

Yeah there was far more stat variety back then. With career specific gear limiting how high you could go in certain stats. When they removed a lot of class requirements on gear people could just stack primary stats.

This helped with the original plan that certain races were stronger in certain areas. HE for instance being strong with and against magic particularly spirit resistance and damage.

Also some careers made use of secondary stats like the WH using ballistics for their pistol executions or AM/shaman mechanic requiring both int and will.

I think its pretty important to have all the pve gear drop from any mob and with an improved drop rate.

Mythic had a universal gear drop list for regular mobs and then later increased the drop rate when the majority missed large amounts of the games pve areas. Instead doing mainly pvp and certain pqs. Before this lead to players either having to spend hours farming the same point instead of actually playing.

By having pve gear drop everywhere there was enough to go around from people doing whatever they felt like. Any pq or any quest could have a drop someone could buy from the AH. It was one of the changes that was actually smart and promoted playing over farming a spot. It also limited players that had either the time or farming bots from gaining an advantage over the more casual or pvp only player in the lower tiers where some pve drops were bis.

Agreed with the above. I'm more than happy just playing the game. The Storm-Courser or Tempest-Rider gear can exist for people who love to farm to excess. This thread is totally useless from my own point of view because, already having a lot of gear, I don't log into Warhammer thinking "Ah, the cape that I want drops in this spot on a 0.01% chance. I'll go and farm ten thousand mobs (or possibly more, averages you know) until it drops." The balance of investment versus reward is too poor.

Now of course the story would be totally different if every mob dropped every piece of equipment, because there would be no need to attempt to perform targeted farming of the one mob that drops what you want. Cloaks would be in general circulation, just as shoulders other than the BG, Slayer and Choppa shoulders are normally priced despite being gear that isn't available from vendors.

Going to update the table with a very special mob in Norsca, Godin Varr :)

Did you have some point to make with the above statement? Just asking because I used to click and you can see me doing so in some of the bug report videos, but I got used to using hotkeys now and I'm not sure if you're being funny.
