I've read through this and would like to point a few things out:
1) Demeaning GMs, by accusing them of "stupid misunderstandings" and "going ballistic in chat", isn't going to get you anywhere.
2) This particular incident as well as many other incidents involving your guild have been discussed internally, and not a single member of our staff has felt in any way that you deserve to be stuck up for.
3) Regarding the non-apology post that was made, implying that the staff need to show understanding for other cultures: We don't. Plain and simple, here's how it is: our server, our rules. It is you who will understand us, not we who will understand you. If that means that you don't feel you can play here anymore, that's fine. The door is that way.
While Grammar Nazi is a familiar expression (however, still one that we would disagree with), channel Nazi is not. We treat any invocation of Nazi as a) an attempt to undermine the authority of the staff by comparing us to an authoritarian regime of mass murderers and b) a grave insult against people who work for free so that you have an arena in which you can make life difficult for our staff and players through both displaying an arrogant and patronizing attitude and through severe acts of unsportsmanlike conduct towards other players (which are currently not punishable by us but certainly are contributing to coloring general staff opinion of your entire guild).
In light of the above, I do not care about any opinions supporting your rights (which you don't have, because this is a private server and we have the right to kick you out because we don't like the class you play or the sound of your username or any other reason, stupid or not, if that is our collective wish). We will view any attempt to undermine our staff by comparing them to real-world scum, no matter the acceptability in other cultures, as a serious attack. This will not change. If our adopting this stance (which is mirrored in many other forums and places on the internet) causes users of this particular phrase or expression to gain a better appreciation of its TRUE meaning, then that's great as well.
The caveat to the above is that we must balance our rules such that we do not TRULY become authoritarian - and believe me, this has been at the forefront of my mind lately. The minute we do become authoritarian, the server will haemorrhage players. We know this.
I would suggest not drawing any more attention to yourselves than you already have. That includes, by the way, by issuing any post after this one, either to argue with this, or to fake-capitulate with a post laced with snide, or by anything else that could reinforce our opinion that your guild just doesn't know when to stop.
