Marauders have the same thing(at higher level), but it's an equal pain in the ass to use.

pet behaviour
As of next patch, all pets:

- Move 50% faster
- Move 75% faster when you mount (for a total speed of 225, which just about lets them keep up given how NPC movement works atm)
- Are classed as group members for the purpose of group-affecting attacks
- Will receive 50% less damage from most sources of AoE

Mutated energy?

Most maras dont even slot that on there toolbar? Its a desrupt chance on a class that never stacks willpower is so dam low that considering how high int gets on casters it rarely ever happens

its like giving a sorc a 10s disarms that requires parry, its great and all but come on...the odds of happening are pretty dam slim

WL knockdown is bound to the pet, that needs to be in meleerange, any snare on the pet and it probably won't happen (or with a delay, which can make a big difference).
Mara knockdown requirement is, that the mara needs to disrupt any ability, so and he can insta knockdown any target in 100 feet range.

edit:
You can easily spec for some disrupt chance, that can't be reduced by intelligence:

10 renown points = +12% disrupt

Well if there's a tank nearby using hold the line, it's available quite often. But yeah most Maras never use it. The WL pet KD is in the wrong spec tree anyways, and they would be gimping themselves to spec it.

There is a pet tactic to move faster.
The pet speed would be high enough to have basically a ranged snare. Adding pounce and charge (which originally works on the lion too) and you have way too many anti-kiter tools.
Unless you say that the speed buff does not more than compensating slow pet reactions and pathfinding. :)

white lions already have speed traing at 21, now we wil have race car white lions with 100% move speed an 125% with mount

:o
