Let the pet die. I got this awesome loner revenge flan king spec where I send my pet in.. it dies.. I do 190 percent strait damage before crits and I kill healers before they realize what happened. I can then run parry sheild and riposte and watch the hilarity of 1k parries from the whole front line.

Coming from a long time Marauder player and advocate:

WL's need buffs. They always did. The Marauder finally got their last round of buffs that I advocated for 2 years (impale not positional only, growing instability to be a flat crit tactic), while WL's got nothing.

There is no debate. Period. If the live game had continued WL's would have gotten buffed.

Things that WL need:

Thin the Herd need to be an incoming heal debuff.
Pet movement speed needs to be greatly increased, its terrible on this server.
Pets could use an aoe damage reduction for sure.

That would be a decent start. If anyone wants to talk about Marauders vs WLs, I am totally down. I had a maxed RR fully geared Marauder so yea, I know what I'm talking about.

I'm afraid it would be suicide. Giving attention to an Order class without coming up with something for Destro will just lead to bias complaints again.

It's not even a choice. The argument for having such strong AoE healing in Warhammer is that it's necessary to keep people alive with all the AoE damage going around. Exclude pets from that without giving them an adequate defense and you make them unreliable and useless.
Just buff Squigs at the same time. Give both pet classes love and there shouldn't be too much whining. I'm not an expert on Squigs by any means though.

Dunno if this was already mentioned:
Iirc on the mythic server, pets were handled as some kind of "7. groupmember". They could be buffed with group-only buffs (e.g. RP buffs) and could be grouphealed.

Besides that, i think the aoe damage done to melee pets (not the two range squigs) should be lowered by 50% (as if they would have a guard tank).

solid, unbiased opinion.

thin the herd should be inc heal debuff. pets do need to be faster, they used to be able to keep up with your horse. AoE damage is such that it nearly dies before it crosses one pit and there's no chance he's catching up to me alive.

It seems to me that the original intent for WL was to be effective for attacking the destro backline. Pounce together with the outgoing heal debuff, seems to be a good combination for that. The problem with that is the rest of Order's melee will have trouble assisting on the same target.

Order has some very strong RDPS classes that should be able to soften a target before WL pounces in to finish them with thier big front loaded burst. I think that idea was good, so i would support some small tweaks to help them do that better, instead of just turning the class into a Mara.

How about.. putting the cc on the player instead of the cat. Might be easier than fixing ai and loner would become all around good.

I'm all for that. A KD belonging to the pet always seemed silly to me.

Actually, I'm torn about this. I definitely hate the fact, that Brutal Pounce is totally unreliable, easy to defend against (see my video) and its effect doesn't fire off instantly. On the other hand, it's nice to have ranged knockdown on melee class. :)

I can write down a lot of sugestions, based on my many year experience on live server, but I'm not playing WL on this server at the moment, so I'm not accustomed to pet behavior in RoR.
