Yeah, they are rather lacking in usefullness, But how about changing the given abilitys to something usefull and in line with the healing mechanics, while still keep the buffs.

Oath rune of power / Mark of daemonic fury:
change from ST damage to a self ST heal.

Oath rune of Iron / Mark of the Spell destroyer
change from DoT to a self HoT

Oath rune of warding / Mark of the vortex
change from Aoe damage spell to a Self Absorb shield

These changes would make the abilitys more usefull imo

Healing meta endgame was usually, Zealot/Rune Priest + DoK/WP, most groups ran on of each.

Zealot/RP have amazing single target burst healing. DoK/WP are group healing/absorbs.

The classes complement each other well.

This.

IDK abt later game, but T1/early T2 Zealot is MOBILE AS FK, as it can spamheal (admittedly not the huge heals) at a dead run. Never underestimate the power of mobility to screw up an enemy's fixed plans.

come on, mobile at t1/t2. At these lvls they got like 1 intant small heal that heals for less than most mdps auto attacks. at t1/t2 shamans and ams, even dok/wp thanks to their low casting time heals could be much more mobile.
Zealot/rp are all around healers, dok/wp are front line fast cast relatively low amount healrs, Am/shamans are intended as proactive single target healers
Mostly harmless

only thing that might be later looked at - their "aoe detaunt" - its perfect cuz its like guard for 10 sec + cannot be set back. though its blessing ... so one "sever blessing" and that save-my-ass ability is in vain and on 3 min cooldown. with that high cd it might be buff instead of blessing. just my pov...
I would suggest
A) remove setback effect and lower CD to 45s - 1min
B) keep it as it is, but make it uncleansable.

Also, for everyone mentioning their buffs, I'd like to bring up that Zealot buffs do not stack with Chosen auras.
I always felt that this game at least tried to make the races basically form decent self contained parties. Like an all greenskin group, or an all elf group. With that in mind, it almost seems silly that the Chaos Tanks auras completely cancel out the Chaos Healers buffs. Furthermore, the Chosen auras are basically better versions of Zealot buffs anyways. I think the only one Chosen can't cover is the Ini/WP one.
Obviously, this isn't an issue if you run with a different tank, or no tank at all, but there are a LOT of Chosen in the game.
oh yea thats a pain in the bottom section!

when buffing my party with the RP i have to look for everything buff already on them cause RP/Zealot buffs stack with nothing and are most of the time smaller in value than the other buffs
not only chosen/kotbs auras are a problem, bufffood is too!

Fully agree, it's the best healing combo. Zealot's group heal/spec is insane as well but noone seems to like it :(

I agree, the group heal spec can put up insane SC scoreboard numbers. I think a lot of people don't do it because there are so many DoKs. Zealot is a much more effective single target healer then DoK is, so they go single target and let the DoKs go group.

Another insane combo with DoK + Zealot is going absorb build. Zealot absorb rit/tactic + DoK Shields is nasty.
