Okay, I gave this some thought before I replied. As someone who plays mostly solo, and not knowing wither that's how you play, or not, ignore complaints in SC chat. It's usually someone who screwed up looking to blame someone else. Happens all the time, so don't worry about the sore loser. For them, it's always the healers fault, and always will be. Since there's no pleasing them, STOP trying to.
If you're playing in a prebuilt, it's contingent on them not to scatter all over the SC like leaves in the wind, but to stay as grouped as they can. Also, in an SC, the healers are usually the first target, so expect to be a casualty.
Kiting as an AM is usually a stick, move maneuver. For me it usually involves, run, cast, run, cast, run, cast, get attacked by WE, die.
Remember, if your not enjoying the career you've chosen, choose another, or play the AM a different way. There isn't a rule that says you have to be a Path of Isha mage. For my AMs I mix, and match, and play some PvE to find the combinations that work best for me.
If you're dead set on being a healer in SCs, you may want to consider changing to WP.

Being a healer can be brutal in a PvP game. You are most people's first target which dramatically reduces your ability to heal. Most healers can stand still and heal well if they're not being focused - learning to deal with being attacked is a big part of learning the art of healing in WAR. I have a shaman and will admit im not all that good at healing in SC's, but here's some tips:

1) You're gonna spend most of your time running

More often than not, you're gonna be running away from enemies, because you're their target. The good news is: if they're focusing you, they're not focusing the rest of your team! So, whilst kiting, throw your HoTs on everyone you can, use your shield, drop your slow-puddle, detaunt, cleanse etc. Let the other healers pick up the slack. Kite towards your tanks so they can guard you, but in mid-tier, tanks aren't great at guarding, so be careful!

If you survive the kiting, eventually they'll quit focusing you.....then you can stand still and do your big heals for a while!

2) Ignore the haters!

There's only so much you can do! You can't outheal the entire opposition, but some will expect you to. You can't heal your team on opposite sides of the map, but some will expect you to. As long as you're trying your best, that's enough. ESPECIALLY if you're focusing on objectives, like you're supposed to.

3) Don't use willpower talismans! (and spec defences :P )

Stack wounds talismans until you hit 9k HP, then you can either go toughness or armour. Make sure you spend your renown points in -chance to be crit (get yourself below 0%), then probably parry or dodge/disrupt. You will be surprised just how tanky a healer can get in this game!

You should be able to outheal 1 DPS focusing you, or 2 tanks. As in, you can stand still, have them hit you in the face, and you'll still live and can heal your team. If you've got a guard, you can survive even more.

Sometimes, the best thing you can do in an SC is BE THE TANK!!! It's hilarious to watch half the enemy team smashing you in the face, ignoring objectives, not getting kills, whilst your team is free to do what they want.

I hope you stick with it. It is a pain, and WAR has a fairly steep learning curve. The first character is always the hardest, and the learning doesn't stop for a long time! You've done the right thing in asking for advice, most don't even bother with that. Experiment, see what happens, speak to other AMs and get their advice. You'll get there!

try wartriage addon it automatically select the player in group or warband who needs healing(you can also modify the priority), then use tab targeting for the enemies and then use ST heals or no cast heals unless you have a good spot to cast group heals, if you find yourself in the middle of clash you cant really cast group heals just use ST heals or no cast heals

I see many healers are doing this wrong. So when you see someone is taking a lot of damage first shield him then cast big heal I see many healers trying cast big heal on someone who is taking big damage and he just die while they cast and that heal and time is lost. Try hot people before fight too. Also detaunt dps that is on you. Healers are capable to survive 1-2 dps on them if you detaunt correctly.

Just to add there is big hate on heals especially in scenarios because there is often lack of them in scs and some of them are dps which makes some people anger even more when you finally have healer in sc and you see it is dps 😂
