As was already mentioned in this thread, chosen mirror skill to Gryphon's Lash is Cleave, and Cleave is already physical.

But you can mention for example sm's Ether Dance which is spirit dmg by default, while chosen's mirror skill Relentless requires tactic to make it spirit. Remake Ether Dance into physical, unless sm slots a specific tactic?

And SMs don't get huge punts by default like other tanks, SMs need to spend a tactic. There is give and take and few players can answer this question.

I'm not pretending to know every class, that's why it's a question. And I don't see it used anywhere, in any build, in any guide, or on kills from solo SMs.

I probably will not end up testing GL against medium armor opponents since I mostly go EB and EA now. Maras and choppas don't solo roam anyway, it's super rare.

As a dude that plays SM a lot, GL is fine as it is. There is a nice tradeoff for the undefendable nature of it. I actually use it all the time even over EB these days since I have plenty of other abilities that need to get used outside of normal stance and when I do use it it is guaranteed to do something. It really shines when you get some high parry mdps down to almost nothing and you need to apply damage of some sort just to finish the deal.
