And this mentality is what is killing this game! It was a RvR game based on one realm defeating the other for Fort then City, now it's all about "how many kills do I have?".
Besides, what do you believe? Enemy addon, Killboard or WB window, they all tally different numbers!

Who cares, I mean honestly, what matters if someone kills you or not? Have we really become that game and player base?

Remove killboard.
Problem solved.
Too many idiotic behaviours was utilized like sniping from spawn in SCs, crashes before being owned to get nice "score" i was killed by various individuals after some 1v1 when they jumped me from shadows right after finished duel when i was 10% hp
So yea, fk killboard game doesnt "resolve around killboard" anyway except for some low self esteem w****** that need to boost their ego with those meaningless numbers

or remove solo kills at all from the killboard. if you don't want to spend time fixing bugs

If the guard kills you with a oneshot Terminate ability 30k damage and if someone attacked you before (even if there was only 1 dot) , then the enemy gets a solo kill for the killboard.
Seriously delete this NONSENSE please or remove guards from all sc ! Or i'd rather go play WoW pvp...
About 6-7 of my 18 solo deaths are fake, due to game bugs.

Maybe I'm in my own bubble here, but I doesn't know anyone who cares about killboard
Edit: maybe there are some who care, but nobody complains
