If you think healers are op now, introduction of pots and armor tals will make you really sad. 100% armor doks and wp... :O

Talis will help. Damage stats have better contribution than will and higher burst vs wounds means they will have less time to escape or heal. Armor and heal pots might be a pain but they will also help mdps close on rdps and healers.

Armor tals and pots mitigation > str tals and pots
Still remember shams charging into the midst of 2 parties on sc and escaping alive.
I was a witness of Ivashka trying this trick on RoR server, without tals and pots he always ended up dead.

That is Ivashka though probably the most killed shammy on Norn. With the addition of talis dps will increase by much more than healing. Also many specs lack any sort of burst without the additional main damage stat. As you have seen from the end of scs. 40-70k damage is the highest with talis you will see damage jump to 100k+. While healing doesnt get as much contribution from willpower. With renown and talis dps will increase by at least a third for most dps.

Shammies in t1 were 15 and had their aoe detaunt. They dont have it here yer and it breaks on dots. Its the biggest jump in survivability they get and its at lvl14

Not in T1, T2 yes but not in T1.

it's not the str but the sheer number of order healers that's annoying

not unusual for them to be 50%+ heals

Ah c'mon, that topic about faction population is so old. You can't surely say which faction got more healers (for me its destros) because every single SC is different. I saw most of my SCs less healers on order side. Easily 80% of them, destro overflowed us with tons of heals.

Would be nice to have some limit for healers on sc. Like, 2 healers in each team.
Needless to say that when 1 side has one healer and the second has 6, the result is pretty much determined.

I was in two scenarios yesterday with my KOTBS where we did not have any healers, funny thing is we still won. I had to run away alot to heal up though

All in all, it doesn't surprise me that it takes that many people to beat down a WP if they know what they're doing. However, between everything else, they should eventually be able to overwhelm the person. Doing something like that takes a lot of coordination and one slip up could very well mean your next GCD won't come fast enough to keep yourself alive.
It's because people are too stooopud to kill the tank first in a dok/tank duo.
