Depends on what you're doing. I've tried to solo on both classes and had success on both of them but in different areas. Choppa by far is better in Orvr than BO and is capable of holding off multiple enemies at once. Choppas also usually do well against most classes minus swordmaster and a few dps AMs.

BOs are significantly better in scenarios than Choppas though. They usually get targeted less often (Choppas almost always get targeted first) and so you're able to dish out on your opponent for a longer period of time. The one thing you're missing on a BO is heal debuff but if you assist a SH or another mdps, you don't have to worry about it so much.

assuming you're going for squishies and get the jump on them, the BO will kill them quicker than the choppa if it is a DPS BO (on demand burst with taunt, armor debuff and SYF vs choppa having to wait until yellow/red to do any dmg). dps bo can melt any squishy if you play it right and surprise

bw/engi/wh/am/rp/some wps. if ur soloing a lot of the time u gotta rely on killing enemy as fast as pos.

To be fair you do have some sustain with Dat tickles M1 and channeled heal

black orc is my goto but choppa is fun if you can get the tank protect. Two ways to play black orc, buff and protect bot or dps. I don't recommend a 2hd as black orc because the shield keeps you alive and lets you participate in shield walls.
