XP scrolls? Tedious? I can tell nobody complaining about tediousness ever played on live during the early years. Leveling to rr80 was an actual grind back then, it literally took years. No XP scrolls either.

If you don't play WAR because you love to beat other players up, then you are doing it wrong anyway.

If you don't play WAR because it is WARHAMMER FANTASY, you are doing it wrong. Look, is there any other WHFB oriented non TW game?
...thought so!
Even while I did leave the forums because I grew tired of this argument, WAR should first cater to ALL THE WHFB fans then the PvP fans. Sure, the "RvR" should have a priority, but the game should be customisable enough to give everyone what he is looking for.
And, no, I will not back from my love of Warhammer and the only venue of seeing it in RPG mode.

What about the gold? I can hardly ever unlock new bags in my vault. It's the same with equipment, I get my crests so slowly.
You guys telling me that you have no problem with leveling it does't solve anything for me. Neither does it offer any reason for why it has to be this way.
The prices for equipment could easily be put back to what they were on live, we could get enough Gold so that a new Bag every now an then would be no problem without having to grind hours away in PvE.
I just don't understand.

1) Go farm, get a profession and sell things.
2) This is a
you problem. Play the game, you'll level up along the way. If you're only interested in leveling and being best-in-slot geared in a short amount of time, then you should find another game. It won't happen, and you'll just be bored after progression ends. And it
will end, eventually.
3) I stash a lot of useless crap in my bank. Things I know I will
never use and don't need, still haven't managed to use it up enough that I would consider buying tons of bank slots. Just play the game. Really.

Let's cater the game to your 30-minutes-MAX-a-day schedule, shall we?

I think Experience rate in RvR is like x3 or around *3. 9000 exp for 1 BO in T3 is just too much. RvR was giving RP mostly and my Renown Rank was progressing much faster than exp. level. Now its going over the top with exp.

Better to cater to the korean mmo fanboys that live in their moms basement and have 8 hours a day to kill on video games?
I'm not trying to troll, this is a serious question, and one that will have to be decided. Will it take 6 months of hardcore farming (ie 8 hours a day) to get 1 toon to rr80 when t4 comes out, like the first months of live? Or will it take a few months of casual play (not 30 mins, but maybe ~2 hours a day ), like it did in the later years when they sped up 1-80.
I'm all for the latter, but obviously there are still enough traditional mmo players here that will be demanding an EQ style game where people who grind forever just to get max gear. Would be nice to get some dev feedback on this, I recall one of them saying it will be sped up, which is good, but still, the OP's post raises some valid concerns.

@Sizer if you limit the power gain between R40RR0 and R40RR80 enough, that is a question that doesn't need to be answered.
I would say, that it should take a while to get there, so a few month at least - on the other hand the power gain must not be big.

If the xp and rr rate as of now stays then probably not.

This is a MMO RPG- which means you need to invest time into your characters to make any real progression. This game caters to those who have time to spend playing it. It's fine to play MMO's casually and all but don't expect to gain any real progress at the same rate of those who are investing more time. This game and all other traditional MMO's are catered the same to there player base in that aspect.
When i was investing more hours on live then i do now, it still took me a little over a year to get to RR80. I think it should be a challenge and feel rewarding at the same time when you hit certain ranks and what not. It shouldn't necessarily be an easy task. I think RoR is currently heading in a great direction and should continue heading the way it is rewarding those who invest there time into this game. The game in its current state gives you something to work for Rank 35, RR40, Dev Gear, Duelist, SC weapons, Gold. I don't think any this should just be handed out without any effort.
