many times I passed t1-t2 with pleasure(rvr+sc), without quests t3. I do not see a problem. Go hit the rat.

We're all in favour of making killquests useful; they should be done in the correct tiers however. Which is what we fixed prior.

My bad, that's what I meant.

Wouldn't it be better to wait with fixing it until you come up with a solution?

I find this post a bit baffling: "T2 is leveling is fine, go grind" Wot?!
Seriously, I have leveled many toons through T2 and the quests promote SCs. Even when it was completely dead in RvR, SCs would pop, due to everyone being pugs tons of kills could be had. Becasuse leveling in this was was still quick, and fun, it was a better alternative to grinding.

Now if I want to level an alt, the fastest way to do that is to grind XP then get my RR up afterwards. Not only this but the T3 quests gave new players a nice allowance by the time they got into T3. This meant that they could afford to contribute to the economy.

fast popping SCs are a good alternative to grinding, it allows new players to get a grasp on their class before hitting T3. Because it is more of a chore to level an alt, old players that you would have seen running around T2 would just grind out and not contribute to the player count for that tier.

In conclusion: Less Alts, More grinding, weaker economy, less skill growth, less SC pops. The existential crisis knowing that you are in tier 2.

I think players need to spend at least some respectable amount of time in the lower tiers or it will seriously mess up the crafting economy.

Assuming all other things being equal, less time spent ranks 1-11 means fewer kills 1-11, fewer drops 1-11 and fewer salvageable items or scavengeable/butcherable corpses putting increased pressure on the crafting market 0-125 or so.

If the amount of time spent in the lower tiers is made smaller, the drops need to be increased or the current insane talisman prices will continue to be the norm and may even get worse.

T3 characters can go back to t1 and 1 shot groups of low level mobs to farm mats.

Free market will fix it

Talisman prices aren't high because of small amount of time we spend in lower tiers. Purple talisman fragments are farmed from T3 champions or T3 purple salvages.
