Snaring, armor debuffs, crushing the weak on any dps bursting anyone from your group, challenge, swapping guards...
All of those come before giving whatever amount of WP to people who are probably already very near the WP cap anyway and i am sure i am even forgetting some of them.
Stop playing BG as someone who buffs their teammates, its not his role.

I don't even think you read the OP or get what I am trying to do. You replied pretty fast for that wall of text and i was like "oh boy here we go" before i even saw what you posted.

I still don't think you understand. I am trying to make it so that in those situations where giving my healers that buff is the best thing I could be doing I don't have to spill my spaghetti doing it, it should be something I can do subconsciously/easily. You are making it sound like i want to just run around and buff healers as my main priority, not sure how you came to that conclusion.
I want to get better at bg, but after you get the obvious things down, like understanding what you are good at (what you mentioned in the 1st post) you have to start digging really deep to find little things that add up.
I would much rather have that BG in my group that could pull of the dark protector swap and buffing easily to take advantage of things most BG won't do or even think of... in those situations where it would be best. But of course not define their entire playstyle around it to the point where it became a detriment to what BG is supposed to do.

Swapping Dark protector is even easier than swapping guard (you dont need to remove it first in order to apply it on a new target).

I would say the easiest way would be Nerfed Buttons, but you'd have to setup two target macro buttons to be able to add to the sequence <[Target Healer] [Dark Protector] [Brutal Smash] [Target player taking damage] [Dark Protector]>. If you run in a premade, you could have two different setups, one for each healer.
