That's so true. When I play my melee characters I can't hit anyone but when I play my SH, I get snared from 20ft away. Kinda funny if you ask me.

I imagine if each character is passed as a circle in space, rather than a 2 semicircles
it could not be set that in motion should the circle (semicircle oriented the opposite direction to the direction of movement is larger eg about 5 feet or something like this)?

That's so true. When I play my melee characters I can't hit anyone but when I play my SH, I get snared from 20ft away. Kinda funny if you ask me.
I noticed earlier some melee attacks range were incorrect, as in far to large. Those have been corrected since then, so it is not impossible there are some errors in melee range attacks (or any attacks for that matter), but currently I don't know of any, but I only play a few classes.
As well auto-attack had this issue but is afaik corrected now from what I have personally seen.

Flee = SW uses his ranged KD on you. By the time you get up your Flee is almost over and he is at 60 feet away from you. Try getting close and he will use a ranged snare. Use Juggernaut andhe will use his AoE snare self punt.

Chosen can't get close to a decent SW. You only have a chance if you block the KD/snare.

baka flee does not prevent chosen to regen ap with tatic,

flee , snare, sw self punt, juggernaut,

still few sec flee and sw still snared, easy kill.

So you conveniently decided to ignore the ranged KD and snare. That or you are just fighting terrible SWs.

Tell you what, i'll log on my SW tonight and we can meet somewhere. Let's see if you can catch me.

edit: Not crying bout SWs. Some classes are way better than others when soloing, or in a group. That's the way this game is. I was just pointing out that any tank who claims to be able to catch a decent SW in T2 is just BS you. Only way would be to have Resolute Defense so their CC doesnt work (and even then you would need to get the jump on them, otherwise they would just flee).

exactly only way a tank is catching an sw is if someone else snare/roots them in t2

Trying to snare people with Daemonic Maw is such a pain on moving targets, half the time the skill refuses to go off unless the target is standing still.

Why does a caster even have a 5ft snare? If you're that close to a melee whose attacking you...you're kinda already SOL.
