i tend to only use armor pots when farming. not many melee DPS willing to sit there attacking a Tank Chosen anyway so its not really a big deal. Usually a couple of dok's around for armor buff too.

Just curious, why is that? At first glance I think it'd just make DoKs/WPs even more required for groups than they already are.

I'm sure if armor pots are ever removed from the game, armor Covenant/Prayer would also be reworked/changed to avoid that issue.

Spoiler:

We will find some other consumable to spend our money on. I was always frusterated that a consumable was better then countless abilities and effects. The BO has 3 different armour increasing abilities, with the armor pot they are practically useless, without it the subtle differences between them can be something sought after. That is just one example of the many classes in the game that have interesting abilities nullified cause of a potion.

Armor pots make dok/wp better, most premades will never use the armor aura, that is just for pugs, wps will use rightheousness for more damage and doks will use celerity/vitality.

If anything dok/wp groups will get a hit on their damage because they cannot afford to not run armor aura anymore.

Could make RP/Zealot more valuable in their single target armor buff from HoT... but I mean I don't think it will stop destro from running double/triple dok groups. Since DoK's are totally balanced :^)

If you remove armor pots you might as well also remove armor aura from dok/wp and rework it into something else.

Well the problem with both kobts/chosen and dok/wp is that they already give too much things.

I would rather just remove it from them and dont give them anything at all.

But that comes with reworking what classes give what and what not, because as everyone knows, its an huge mess right now where there is a lot of buffs that are irrelevant because those two classes exist.
