Is Bombing Good for the Game?

I believe in a WB of 24 people you can run 8 BWs while still having the necessary tanks and healers, resulting in 8x1200 dmg = instanst death for all enemies within 30ft.

8 BWs in a wb is highly unlikely, you'll want slayers, you'll want some SWs, and then getting all the morales to be off cooldown at the same time, and drop them at the same time, in the same spot. It's a lot of burst, but its not going to wipe a WB unless you are blobbing in a spot.

Well.. 8 maybe unlikely... lets make that 6 in the WB, with 1 or 2 getting killed or not having the morale at the right time. It doesn't take much to have 4 BW count it down on TS and drop them at the same time. I think no one can argue that 4 BW coordinating m2 is a preposterous or unreasonable situation (we see it every night). Thats still 4800 dmg.. killing some squishies and putting tanks to under 25% health.

I stopped reading at the part, where's BW m2 is to good for AoE - pathetic 1200 damage. It seems that guy stuck in 2007, where that m2 could stun.

He's telling you to read his post again because he said "large scale conflict" and you tried to deflect into group vs group. The topic will remain about bombing in mass RvR, thanks.

Oh, and 4/5 instances of 1200 guaranteed damage is nothing to spit at.

WB to WB will always be the most effective way, there is no imaginary WB, where is everyone could play, WE, DD AMs, etc. If you nerf somthn, ppl will still use the most effective setup, and noone will think about crappy thousand tactics, where the only one is effective. And then whine starts again, but then it's will be whine about most effective tactic NOW.


And again, let's nerf abilities now, and in t4 they will be utter useless trash, because in t3 some man died w/o heal, playing solo, or in pug WB. Pfeh.

Wb vs wb is always about bw/sorc.
Maybe one magus/engi or slayer/choppa, everything else is trash tier.

I personally don't like bombing, one of the reasons I stick to scs most of the time.

I'm sure I have, but not recently. I've also been rejected and booted from warbands because my dps class was not a BW. This is not a rage post but something I've been thinking about the last few days.
