Are you really suggesting WH/WEs will start using silence over KDs?
If you make movement CC last 30 seconds versus 9-12 seconds for silence, I think you'd see a lot more silencing, yes.

As open view i agree indeed in the specific case of silence and disarm that those, becouse they do not prevent moving and kiting could be moved in a 3rd immunity type, being separate from stag would be not much an issue cos stag break by touch, and root not prevent skill use and also have a chance to break.

bind instead KD/KB and have 3 immunity like

KD/KB (avoid weird combo)
stag ( no need to fear it )
silence/ disarm /pull /root

or either

KD/KB /SIlence /disarm
stag
root/ pull




this would allow more use for cc but also would make their use smart, like avoiding stupid cc combo like KD some one that take measure and KB into star effectively make him useless for like 8 seconds (BG case).
but the aim should always been make thing viable but always make thing smart to use and not broken chain

Whoever suggest making kd and silence be different immunities needs to read the durations on some KD and silences.

When both your healers are getting cced for 10 seconds and that is the go to tactic every time, you will be asking yourselves who the **** was the idiot who proposed them having separate immunities.

He right a 5 second kd from a bg followed up by a silence from a sham is death.

In a game with a ttk ranging from 2-10s we honestly don't need more cc than we currently have.

Go back to WoW where you have a higher ttk and ways to counter/break cc, which we mostly dont have here in RoR.

maybe vs solo players but in a 6v6 enviormet is the ttk really that short? i remember especially late game 6v6 fights were kinda protracted affairs

instead talk about 6 vs 6 i would see those change in a 24 v 24 view, and we alredy have pull+ KD that is a lot more worst than kd + silence.
The chance that 1 healer is get in a wb fight and get kd +silenced are very low, unless your front line it's very bad. Or not organized even a little. i Still think indeed something could be done to make silence and disarm more relevant. Maybe immunity could remain the same but silence or disarm could be improved in duration since the target can still move while silenced or disarmed. Anyway wont be the case now. Dev are looking not at balance stuff atm.

By the way, how it was on early live. I remember that immunities were shorter, but how short were they?

No one is? Maybe you should read instead of making **** up.

Everyone is complaining that senseless AoE CC abilities like the engineer land mine, knight stagger, SM punt, etc... are giving out 30 seconds of immunity to hard CC like knockdowns/silence/disarm and important positioning tools like single target super punts.
