Improving the 2H blackguard playstyle

Just saying swordmasters are running around with basically no CC either. Sure, it's 'available' but just because it's on a talent calculator on a website somewhere doesn't mean SM's have it.

I'm just trying to shoot down argument #1 Bg's deserve cave win because ib's have it. I'm not shooting down the idea to make 2-handed black guards more attractive. If this is what the devs want to allow.

Accessible? I've neer seen a single SM with a kd...

1)Go to sm mastery tree
2)Go to Vaul tree
3)Look at 9 point ability and realize that its crushing advance aka KD for SM
4)Spec it if you want to

Perhaps it is because we are only 31/40 so sm; have been specing in khaine or Hoeth?

Does that mean later in game they cannot spec it?

Who said anything about needing "cave win"? I.E a 4s KD?


Reading through the ops entire thread, they simply want bg to have the option to spec into a kd if they choose to just like every other tank in the game

Furthermore the op clearly stated they refered to cave in simply as a refrence because it is the only kd in the game for a tank tied to a great weapon which is what bg needs because you cant give bg a kd without that requirement or they will be come op with 2 kds

What and what and what? RR80 has nothing to do with the amount of points you have.

You're trying to shoot down the argument with anecdotal evidence, red herring and derailing. Why don't you just give us a reason why a 2H BG doesn't deserve a knockdown in your opinion?

I'd suggest getting your facts straight before blindly spewing your incoherent nonsense. The change went through awhile ago. Create a swordmaster and look at the tree, fool.

Nobody specs the SM KD at the moment because doing so requires the sacrifice of either Whispering Wind or Ether Dance.

Anyway, using SM as an example of why 2H BG is fine is a really poor argument, given SM's known lack of viability in the official T4 endgame, though I agree that the argument about dealing with 2h tanks generally does hold water.

It looked really hard to get at first glance. I guess they use it. That's why I asked. I just wanted to make sure SM's have a cc in tier 4. If not, I'm waging an equal rights thread.

Yeah, the option is there and the stage is set for the Whispering Wind and Crashing Wave epicness in T4. Even Ether Dance SMs will have the option for running a KD, which is cool. I really hope you consider giving 2h BGs some KD love Aza
