Game ont let me do anything

My Girlfriend brought me to Warhammer actually...

I saw it working with her.

I installed it on my machine, followed every step (unhecking read only and all that sorts).
I even restarted my comp

The Launcher Works perfectly fine but then....

The Games loading screen appears, fades out and the stone circle (where your charater would be standing usually)
then it says "entering the fray" on the right side.
suddenly a message pops up:
The order is looking for new recruits or something...

and i cannot click ANY button at any time.
neither settings, nor quit, nor accept, decline, whatever...
i have to alt f4 to quit the game...

I'm absolutely clueless regarding this problem, no one else seems to have it...
i treid searching google and the forums... please help me.

Did you use the client version provided on the forum? Any outdated client versions aren't compatible with this emulator.

Alternatively, you can copy your girlfriend's copy of the game onto your machine.

I just redownloaded everything. It's a completely clean install.

At that point you should be able to click accept, then select the server and create a character. I can't think of anything that's cause that step to fail. Is your WAR folder 10.4GB?

Firewall/Antivirus might be blocking the network functions at that point.

Yes. And read only has been cleared more times than I can count.

For fun, could you move that to D: instead of inside the Downloads folder?

No change, I am also running this in Windows 10. I have set it for compatibility for Windows 7 and am running as admin while logged into the only Admin account.

Have you ever installed DirectX9.0c, or a game that installs it for you? Something like League of Legends, Rocket League, those are a couple that still use it.

The normal DX11 install doesn't include everything needed for WAR.

I have many games that are DX9 only: Guild Wars 2, Marvel Heroes, RIFT, TOR, and so on. I have watched them all install some form of DX9 usually 9.0c.
