Will rifters get punished?
Re: Will rifters get punished?
The doors and walls were impenetrable for any skills from both sides on live.

Re: Will rifters get punished?
LoL 14 points wasted on a gimp spec for a single target RNG pull
Im more than ok with restricting GtTC around keeps but the thought that people would even want to spec it boggles me
Having said that if we are going to restrict people from pulling people off walls and stuff with rift and what not, come 40 will we also prevent "real" pulls from doing the same?

Re: Will rifters get punished?
When you have multiple Choppas using GTTC, it really starts to feel like you're in a tumble dryer since you get pulled multiple times in different directions. There's not much you can do until the cycle stops since the uncontrollable movement makes any kind of melee attack pointless until you find out where you end up.
For a while, I thought it might be the the Zealot's 'Winds of Insanity', since that was the only pull/knockback that I knew that ignored immunities but it's definitely the Choppas.
Isn't GTTC in the same position that 'Inevitable Doom' lies in the Slayer trees? I'd definitely say that both abilities are potent in their own way.

garbage rng ability on a trash tree

Re: Will rifters get punished?
Explains why I haven't seen a single choppa with gttc on live ( I even had no idea choppa had any kind of pull)) but the're so many choppas with gttc in RoR. You destros were always the best... in using bugs

Re: Will rifters get punished?
Its a single target RNG pull towards a squishy mdps and it does **** dmg, and half the time you could end up pulling a target to you that you dont want to pull like a tank and is furthermore rendred useless by the much better ST pull on mara
Furthermore it requires you to spec up the wreka tree, which is like specing up stabbin, or specing up monstro except worse cause wreka is a garbage, a waste of points with no good abilites in the tree that causes you to not get the much better abilities in hitta or savage and is basically a zergy build thats useless in any other situation
Every choppa using GtTC is one who isnt specing Hdbuff or the ap sustain ability or survivabilty ability with furious choppin
Probably never even touched the class on live
Mythic nerfed choppa's AoE tree to the ground back on live b/c of complaints to GtTC and sorc bombing while never touching slayers AoE or wispering winds, this made/forced choppa to be a ST mdps, any one trying to AoE with choppa is doing it wrong

On live that pull was a crap so maybe here will be differents.

Re: Will rifters get punished?
right now the main problem is that they can fetch through doors. i don't even care about pulling ppl down from walls tbh. but pulling inside a keep w/o any chance for an escape is dumb. the pull itself is pretty ok but tbh you should consider adding a immunity on the choppa pull because right now it ignores it. not sure if this works as intented or if it never caused a immunity but it's kinda dumb to get pulled from magus over 75 feet, then throwed in by choppa 2-3 times in a row if you're unlucky. kd + collision and you basically can't escape.
