I'd rather keep it. Yes, there is smack talk, but that is fun. Also had some good convos too. And it is fun for RP too.

I actually like it.. you start talking to the opposing side about specs and you see them as people, not as an actual enemy or jerks or whatever. Yes, I'm a peace lover even in war. Now, let's go kill! :D

PS I hope the don't remove it!

I kinda like TesQ's suggestion. Sounds like a good solution.
Some valid points all over the replies here.

Not to mention how easy it's to leak info to the opposite side with x-realming. You don't even need trello or skype.

While i personally dislike crossrealm chat, i think it should remain for now, because:
1) It'll require time and effort from the devs, and i do believe that ROR has more pressing issues that should be dealt with.
2) Game is in Alpha, so everyone is working to make it better, and crossrealm chat simplifies communication which helps with testing.

There's always A-holes that will smack-talk bollox when the other side has 400% AAO, but it often adds flavour. Especially when the Bitterstone Thunderers go up against any of the greenskin guilds.

But what will happen to Rioz if they remove it? He'll just play his little harp with a sad face ;(.

Smack talk can be fun when I'm in the mood for the bitter people, but it's mostly a pain.

Yeah I'd rather keep it. It's one of the few differences betwix RoR and WAR that I really like.

This.
But I do miss having somewhere to give info, during RvR, without opposing realm being able to see it...
