Other then the guy that's trolling I think you are seeing the frustration of playing T2 for sooooooooo long that all we want is to level up and pvp in different zones. for most of the people that I play with we wouldn't have a problem with a pop cap and if we are going to lag in game we could at least lag while leveling a main instead of 10 alts. I don't want to sound ungrateful because it is fantastic work you guys are doing and the fact that it's free is even better. The thing is when we hear that T3 is ready and we are just waiting on lag most of us have always played war with lag even on live. The vid didn't help because there is no hype needed most of us have been logging in every night and waiting on the T3 release. None of this was meant to be inflammatory or in any way an insult to the devs.

I understand that; I play the game too. T3 was originally going to be released a while back (I was trying to marathon skills and tactics) but due to the intervention from the management, I realized it wasn't going to happen then, and I lost my motivation to work on the abilities.

As it stands, lag is not the only thing holding back a potential T3 release; I still have to finish the skills and tactics, which were, admittedly, mostly complete before the intervention and shouldn't take long to finish.

If I remember correctly, there have been polls in which a preference for fixing the lag first was expressed by the majority of the community, and those have guided the staff's outlook.

Thank you for responding and as far as the polls they can be skewed really easily with multiple accounts and votes as far as the community you can see it in the population atm at US prime time the numbers have been way down all week. I'm not trying to say everything is doom and gloom either because the game is still the best pvp out there and we are still having fun playing. Also I think it's important to keep in mind the majority of players don't post on the forums.

As far as your work on the project it's outstanding what you have been able to do so far and please for the love of god keep up the good work and finish.......

Also thank you for shedding some light on the situation because as for me and most of the people I play with we watched the vid and thought hell yeah T3 in the next couple days!!

I've no idea when T3 is going to be released, so I can't even tell you. I thought that was common knowledge.

Well with the Hype train on facebook and the t3 empire video I would have guessed that t3 was coming out I mean why would u say that on facebook and be like " ye its not coming out for abit"

IMHO just be grateful that you get to play, regardless of what Tier.

Most people have absolutely no idea what it takes create and implement an emulator. Blood, sweat, tears and time...

Being able to play and be grateful about it > of what might be up and coming.

Want to know when it might be released? How about devoting your DB skills or coding time to this project? =)

as i posted in the developer application thread "source Code", i would help you with programming ... so do many other people here with great skills.
i dont understand why the staff do not include more developer in order to control this lag issue.
im pretty sure with more people and their knowledge the project is going to progress even faster.

if its only ddos then well never see t3.

Azarael stated already several times, that he hates this "better don't report bugs, so we can abuse it as long as possible" behaviour some people seem to have.
Maybe you should stop listening to conspiracy theories and butthurt-cause-banned players in TS and start to use common sense instead, i.e. why should any dev invest that huge amount of time into developing this project and at the same time try to hurt it with bug exploiting?

The whole gameplay mechanic/ability/balancing discussions on the forum are full of posts from people who heard something from other people, who heard something from other people... and they are usually all wrong.

For those of you who claim that you are not ungrateful for asking about t3. I don't doubt that you value the amazing, pro bono, huge amount of time and effort Azarael and the others have put in. I know you are grateful. You would be outright insane if you weren't. But I think that you are being a little bit selfish in this. Your individual, personal impatience creates a discomfort for you that you want to alleviate as soon as possible. Thats understandable. But when a member of the RoR team has stated in this post that he doesnt know when t3 will be available, you continue to press him on the matter. You give various reasons for your impatience: being burnt out, having to level alts, misleading information (which is ungrounded) etc. If you are bored/uneasy/demotivated go play some other game for a while, it's very easy. Just put yourself in Azarael position for a moment. He is the member of the team that has the unrewarding and difficult task of acting as a buffer between the team's work and the players' unbounded enthusiasm in the happy times and impatience and disrespect in the bad times. I think he is being EXTREMELY patient with your impatience.
