Re: Help! Game was working, not anymore.
MY problem? Do you guys even read the forum? Half the recent posts are about this exact problem. This is EVERYONE's problem. And exactly because you did a pretty poor job explaining what it actually does. But clearly I am the bad guy here...

Sorry, I explained it 56 times in the last month and went on a break due to work.Wlarius wrote:MY problem? Do you guys even read the forum? Half the recent posts are about this exact problem. You could've just used the search function on the forums and look for 'Connect Button' - I guarantee you something would pop up.
What you should do however, is simply keep restarting the launcher until pressing Connect will launch the game.

Re: Help! Game was working, not anymore.
I see that at least now you have added the solution to the Launcher message.
"If connect button isn't clickable..."
Good job. Took you long enough. I still see that about half the recent Technical Support Posts are about this Login problem. You could have done this immediately. So seems like it had nothing to do with MY lazyness, but YOUR lazyness. Or ineptitude. I don't doubt it was much simpler to just post it on Facebook, but obviously not all the fans follow it. And I think the numerous posts about Login problems in the forum confirm this.
This is what I was really looking for. Something that EVERYBODY can see without going to Facebook or Twitter or Myspace or whatever. Isn't it better to have the solution in the launcher than telling the same old answer to numerous people in the forum? I think in the future we all expect to see every relevant message that may affect/disconnet/prevent the game from starting either on the website (top post while relevant) or the Launcher (less we will spam the Forum with the same problem again). And I don't think it is anything unacceptable to ask for.
I hope in the future you will do this sooner, and avoid arguments and countless different posts about the SAME problem in the Forum.

Oh. Something like this ? (on the forum, same section you posted, pined, since september) :
called :
[TUTORIALS FOR BEGINNERS] (Launching, errors...)
http://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/ ... f=4&t=6443

Obviously, thousands of players succeed to connect every days, DDOS or not.
Dunno, they are lucky, or genuis, or gods... ...oh no... they maybe have searched the answer on this forum... (so i guess our instructions/informations are clear enough for them)
Yeah sorry mate, we are lazy...

Re: Help! Game was working, not anymore.
Walarius, I think the Launcher's idiot filter rejected you from logging in.
Pretty much always afk or tabbed out.
Re: Help! Game was working, not anymore.
Yeah, sure. Link something that was put on the website a month after this thread was made (October). That will totally make you look like every answer was available from the very beginning.

Re: Help! Game was working, not anymore.
Such entitlement. I think some people tend to forget that the people who make it so we can play this game owe us exactly **** all.
