Let's get something straight right now.Joshwa70 wrote:If this is alpha.. and none of rhis matters... why ban anyone or wipe anything. You just kicked out the most successful game testers lol. Congrats.
It is actually quite scary when you think of your text in the head and read it with the tone of Judge Dread.Genisaurus wrote:Let's get something straight right now.Joshwa70 wrote:If this is alpha.. and none of rhis matters... why ban anyone or wipe anything. There were a handful of people who, upon discovering the bug and potential for exploit, notified us. These people did the right thing, and have not been banned. They let us know in a private manner so as not to bring undue attention to the issue, and we tested and implemented a fix immediately.
The people that were banned were the most useless of testers, because they thought that getting a leg up on their fellow testers and players was more **** important than helping us fix the game.
You're allowed to be salty about a wipe, that's your prerogative. But you do not get to cry over us firing people who did not do their jobs. If you think that's unfair, you can uninstall.
GJ on that.Genisaurus wrote: The people that were banned were the most useless of testers, because they thought that getting a leg up on their fellow testers and players was more **** important than helping us fix the game.

Lol. They should only ban the accounts. If they want to start fresh they should be able to.OldPlayer wrote:GJ on that.Genisaurus wrote: The people that were banned were the most useless of testers, because they thought that getting a leg up on their fellow testers and players was more **** important than helping us fix the game.

At the same time it will be interesting to find out if DDoS attacks will increase after the wave of bans/wipes.
